In the Indo this evening, resignations from the Commercial Advisory Group, volunteer group of senior business folks and players (eg European head of Dell), specifically in response to the appointment. Not what you need when you’re trying to increase your commercial revenue.

When ex-players resign from a club the impact is rather nebulous, but when you’re commercial engine is damaged, then you know you’re in trouble….
Looks like the bookies are convinced that Ulster will be all changed for their trip to Thomond on Saturday. Munster are 20pt favourites and look to be sailing into the playoffs after a nervous couple of weeks.
Same. Libero had a great take on the psychology of this… we all know City are cheats, bought success, 116 charges etc. If they beat your team, that’s ok, they’re cheats, how do you compete? But if a regular team, Arsenal, beats your team, they are just better, fair ‘n square, nobody likes that 🤷🏼♂️
Would love Leinster to have a crack at Glasgow in Scotland, so 2nd placed is absolutely fine too
I can’t be the only one who was a little relieved that last conversion didn’t go over for Leinster, 17 point leads still terrify me, 15 is just better.
Cool, play the man and not the issue there 👋
For starters “no facts to accuse…” there were, there was an accusation and a charge and lots of other facts in the public domain.
Very carefully worded to avoid any fallout with the club.
Absolute nonsense
I’m literally quoting it 🤦🏻♂️
“No facts to accuse…” you actually pay for this??? According to various media outlets there was an accusation, a charge, scientific evidence linking the accused to the crime and a prosecutor who stated emphatically that the crime took place.
Sure look, his team might score a few more tries.
Oh yeah? Free 30min podcast yesterday made it very clear their views on it and the various Indo journalists social media posts did too
Cool, privately behind a paywall? Fair play
Brilliant fans, always have been. Also worth saying that none of the prominent Munster supporter groups, podcasts, paid services or social media commentators have had a single word to say about it.
Excited to read the takes this weekend on the Womans Six Nations, from all the lads who have no take on Munster hiring Roger Randle.
#notallheroeswearcapes
Fair play to Keane, Holland & O’Driscoll for all resigning, beggars belief that they pushed on.
Some way to lose your CEO and head coach
So many prominent Irish rugby accounts get so worked up over the smallest of things, but when someone with some very serious, historic accusations gets hired into Irish rugby, it’s crickets.
Very poor from Munster and the IRFU.
Yeah, but presumably won’t be seen for close to 12 months
This is the week that Leinster typically announce their signings for next season. Hopefully:
1. They have enough cash to sign people 😬
2. They go back to far lower key players, preferably no WC commitments
3. 2nd row - no depth here, IRFU presumably won’t allow it
4. Scrum half
5. Back 3
Hopefully someone is have a chat with him
If he’s interested could be in an Irish squad for the autumn…
😂 will they ever learn?
Thats rhetorical, they won’t.
Any decent hotel recommendations near Murrayfield for the semi final? 😬
This bunch of Scottish/Glasgow players just bring me so much joy, year after year. I owe them so much.
😂😂😂
If there’s any truth in the McKee rumours you’re getting a class player
Ulster gazumping Munster to sign Jamie Benson is some reflection of the change in outlook of both clubs in the last 2 years. Hopefully he does great up in Belfast.
LoL that’s the same as Scots players talking nonsense, fair play 😂
What? Somebody needs to tell the IRFU that they don’t own stadiums 🤦🏻♂️
Thought Clayton McMillen was a terrific hire for Munster, not so sure today… choosing to play into a gale away from home is stupid, but choosing to play a high risk handling game into that wind is idiotic
Seeing a lad who turned 20 just recently hold his own in the scrum versus a 2 time World Cup winner and play so well in the loose, really makes mockery of other Irish teams refusal to play young lads. Well done Billy Bohan 👏 👏
