During yesterday’s blizzard, @chrismartenyc.bsky.social and @speakermenin.bsky.social joined the Smith Houses Tenant Association, @rethinkfood.bsky.social, and Chefscape NYC to deliver 250 meals to seniors and vulnerable residents.
Fresh off the momentum of a strong finish to the '24-'25 term, which saw us pass approximately half of all introductions, and run successful budget campaigns that won billions of dollars for housing and crisis response initiatives, we're growing to meet the moment of a new era at City Hall 🔽 🔽 🔽
I look forward to using this committee to shape our city's future while celebrating it's past. We will also work to ensure that our public sites are used for public good - so that as our City continues to change, the Council is constantly required to address who these changes benefit. (2/2)
I'm grateful to get to work with @council.nyc.gov Speaker Menin as the Chair of the Landmarks, Public Sitings, Site Depositions, and Resiliency Committee. Representing the oldest part of our city and one that's almost entirely coastal, (1/2)
NYC private sector nurses are fighting for fair contracts that protect patient care and deliver safe staffing. Our communities and nurses deserve better. Solidarity with @nynurses.bsky.social who are ready to strike. #NursesCareforNY #SafeStaffingSavesLives
DOT start the plan! It’s been 4+ years and $500,000 spent just to develop a plan to pedestrianize the Financial District and so far we have gotten nothing!
False Positive is very happy to endorse @chrismartenyc.bsky.social for City Council District 1

For months and at many rallies I’ve have called for Mayor Adams to resign ✌️
Honored to be endorsed by @psc-cuny! Under this admin the threats to CUNY and their staff have been real. We have not compromised in our demands of making CUNY free, to fund childcare at every campus and to make sure we are protecting the adjuncts, professors and retirees that so many NYers rely on.
with support across all ages, races, and trades & every corner of our district. This broad coalition is how we were able to win 4 years ago, 2 years ago, and what will carry us to victory again this June!
Our campaign is off to a strong start! TY to everyone who donated and helped make us the first fully funded campaign in District 1. We are very proud to have support from 100s of donors that reflect the diversity of our communities:
Thanks for notifying us. We will follow up with the appropriate agency.
NYC is on track to deliver a key component of Project 2025 to our city retirees: force them to switch to Medicare Advantage. We shouldn’t be leading the way, we should be protecting our public healthcare.
