Re: Resigning in protest, SecDef James Mattis did so upon trump's decision to suddenly, with no planning, and ultimately chaotically (sound familiar?), withdraw from Syria. He wrote a gracious resignation letter spelling out his objections.

Why is Crooked allowed to unleash unlimited f-bombs while you censor Nicolle Wallace's The Best People?!

Senator Warren: How much would it cost to extend the ACA’s enhanced premium tax credits for just one year?

Witness: About $30 billion.

Senator Warren: The Trump administration says this war [with Iran] will cost $50 billion. That means we could help all the people pushed off their health care and still have an additional $20 billion left over.

Instead of going to war with Iran, we could cover health care for millions of Americans.

And still have $20 billion left over.

Chris Murphy: “They have NO plan to open up the Strait of Hormuz — a totally foreseeable result of a military action against Iran—

It’s getting worse, not better as Iran is now mining the Strait — if the Strait is closed for weeks or months more, that’s a global economic catastrophe”

Imp't to note re:SAVE Act, it's not just the ID issue! It reqs states submit voter info to DHS for input to DHS error-ridden database, + DHS allowed to force voter purges based on phony evidence.

It also forbids online registration used by millions,+ imprisons poll workers for regis. mistakes.

Another open-book test of spine and moral backbone that will be failed en masse by the people who are supposed to be watchdogs of democracy.

You turn down invites from Nazis, kids. It’s the easiest call to make. Imagine if Trump walked into a room empty aside from ten Fox News clowns.

He's actually articulated just that in the past, in reference to our nuclear arsenal - why have it if we never use it. He's a simpleton with literally zero ability for abstract thinking. Just what you want in a POTUS!

Mine broke when W. Admin told easily debunked lies why we're invading, + ppl believing it like zombies, + when they couldn't care less that they were fighting a war on the cheap, wounding+killing American soldiers+countless innocent Iraqis,+radicalizing others. Sadly, this is just salt in the wound😥

That reminds me of when the putrid Newt Gingrich was Speaker and appallingly suggested that we stop spending $ on social services for at-risk children, and just throw them all into orphanages🤬. It's the party of faMiLy vALuEs!

THANK YOU!!! The MSM impulse to sanewash+downright fictionalize DT's insanity is infuriating. Ntm, DT's actions have just been echoes of past GOP Pres: Rule by ideology vs. data, cut tax on the rich, cut safety nets, raise deficit/debt, evade competitive bidding to reward their buddies, + warmonger.

By-the-by, in his 1st term, by 2019, DT dropped more drones + killed more civilians than Pres. Obama in his 8 yrs. Civilian deaths were so high that DT eliminated the Obama-era rule of publishing civilian death #s. DT bragged like a child abt using a MOAB. Believing DT is a pEaCe pReS is imbecillic.

I especially love when they overrule elections + choose the POTUS by prohibiting a state from counting every vote rendered. Even better is when one (O'Connor) admits she just didn't want the Democratic candidate, + another (Scalia) says he knows it was a "bullshit decision." I'll die mad about that.

And then play a recording of Michelle Wolfe's 2018 speech, which was brilliant. “You guys are obsessed with Trump. Did you used to date him? You act like you hate him, but I think you really love him...You helped create this monster, and now you’re profiting off of him.”

Colbert's takedown of W. at the 2006 WHCD was brutal, and was a needed balm to the soul, because *no one* in the MSM was speaking up. I remember barely anyone in the audience laughed, but Stephen was spot on and prophetic. He was the first one I remember to call the MSM "stenographers."

He sounds like a 5 year-old. He sounds like my brother who, when he was a toddler used to say, "I'm the biggest boy in the family." Even if DT is incapable of introspection, how are those who surround him not hiding their faces in embarrassment when he talks this way??

If my followers have been inspired by the fierce resistance the Twin Cities has put up to ICE, you should make it a point to take a trip here (April through October 😬), enjoy the wonderful things MN has to offer and support our small businesses. It continues to be a really tough time for them.

just a reminder that Donald Trump's unilateral destruction of US AID has murdered 700k people so far, and is likely to result in somewhere around 14 million deaths.

you don't get to be called the peacemaker in chief after committing one of the worst genocides in the history of the world. 1

The same funds he stole from during his 1st term, when Congress (while still Repub-led) denied him $ for his wall. And they keep voting for him🤬🤬!

I feel as if we're a failed state - only with the most powerful military in the world and a demented psychopath in charge. Not good.

In W.'s last months of his term, Cheney was repeatedly haranguing W. to give Libby a full pardon, and he wouldn't do it. At the time, it was reported that it caused a major rift between them, and they didn't spend much time in the same room after that.

I still can't believe they're trying to make a war happen out of thin air. Not just their abrogation of Congress's role in formally declaring a war -- that's been a slippery slope for decades -- but their total unwillingness even to go through the motions of drumming up public support.
