An ink painting of a Vaporeon smiling happily at the camera. Many big morning glories are tangled on a vine around their tail. The inside of the morning glories mimic the spiky collar shape around Vaporeon's neck.

A vaporeon sitting in profile and smiling with a few morning glories around them, and the vine curling around their tail again. Do you think surf would be useful for gardening purposes? Vaporeon wants to find out.

Nothing has come in for shelter & needs & I really need ANYTHING to.

A worst case scenario is I’ll need to Borrow from CashApp for needs & I don’t wanna do that but Topaz is out of food, etc.

Idk what other options I have. 🆘

My best and favourite girl, Heidi, a German Shepherd, snuggled up with four small kittens
There's a lovely tabby smooshed into her face, a ginger, and a ginger and white kitten on either side of the tabby, and a calico curled up at the bottom. They are super cosy and peaceful.

In the wake of all the news coming out of the US and the amount of shouting at the TV I've done, I thought everyone else might benefit from one of my favourite photos from 2017 to break up the doom scrolling.

I cannot fix the big things, so here's a small thing.

Lineart redraw of a Bungo Stray Dogs manga panel showing Fyodor Dostoyevsky (the fictional character, not the Russian author lol) tied up on a chair, wearing white overalls. He's got straps around his neck, shoulders, waist, knees, and around his crossed arms. His legs are spread open from his knees being tied to the legs of the chair. He's got short straight hair with bangs crossing his face, his head is tilted to the side and he's got a very displeased look in his eyes and eyebags from probably never sleeping ever.

A banner of two masculine characters leaning up against a birch tree. The one on the left is an Indigenous man wearing a vest covered in beadwork, and the one on the right has paler skin and orange hair, wearing a blue shirt with tassels on the chest. Both have soft expressions as they hold hands. Gold decorations frame the corners of the image, and the text "We've Always Been Here" takes over the right side in flowy, mock-gold text. A small note in the corner also reads, "Work in Progress Image."

Techspot.com headline:
Jensen Huang says relentless negativity around AI is hurting society and has "done a lot of damage"

By Rob Thubron January 11, 2026 at 10:08 AM

Ever since ChatGPT was released to the masses, there's been a lot of negativity around generative AI – from the number of jobs its set to make obsolete to more extreme concerns like an apocalyptic event. Nvidia's Jensen Huang isn't happy about it, claiming that this "doomer narrative" is "not helpful to society." It's not an entirely unsurprising view from the CEO of the company whose hardware powers the AI industry.

80.lv headline:
NVIDIA CEO Doesn't Want "Well-Respected People" to Criticize AI
By Theodore McKenzie, Head of Content. 13 January 2026

Big tech moguls not bouncing off the walls about the Next Big Thing? Preposterous!

Although many have come to expect big tech executives, as in, all of them, without exception, to endlessly froth about the Next Big Thing – VR, NFTs, the metaverse, AI, take your pick – it should be obvious that, at the end of the day, even high-level CEOs are still people, have differing opinions on different issues, and might even, as preposterous as it may sound, express skepticism about the current flavor of the month: artificial intelligence.

Not particularly fond of this reality is NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who, in a recent interview, voiced his disapproval of "well-respected people" saying negative things about AI, characterizing their concerns about the technology as a "doomer narrative."

There's a lot of whining from the big drivers of AI lately that is tantamount to "If you keep complaining about it, we'll take it away!", not realizing that's kind of what people want? That's why they're complaining???

I’m not keen on the fact that DuckDuckGo already has AI search, but I’m very glad it’s optional.

But what if we vote no so hard they drop AI entirely?

my hot take is artists can and should post what they want and the complainers who go "shhhh just post art, stop being a person where i can see" should get a bop from a squeaky hammer. whiny assholes never bother to click through and follow/repost from the "art only" account anyway

Rainbow stripes with a white text box over it, and an image below of a person holding the intersectional pride flag over their back. The text box reads: "As a team of two trans (Sapling is nonbinary and Felix is two-spirit!) husbands, we’ve felt exhausted online lately, with censorship closing in on us all. Queer content is being banned, restricted, under fire, and we’re sick of it. So we’re creating something offline, a physical art book, a collaborative community project. Something to give us all hope. Something to connect us through our many cultures, all across the world. With our first zine, “We’ve Always Been Here,” we aim to show just this: that we’ve always been a part of history, and we’ll always be a part of the future too."

We're tired of LGBTQ+ content being censored.

Tired of people pretending that being queer or trans is a new "fad", and not something that’s existed, perfectly naturally, for as long as people have been around.

Check out our mission, and join us in fighting censorship. 🏳️‍🌈

Hey, artists remember this:

No matter how many pieces you made this year you're an artist, even if you only made 1.

If you are super active or if you only have time / energy to pop up once in a while, no matter how big or small, you are still part of the art community 🙌

I love u artists
