Saw a video rec on interstitial journaling yesterday, so I tried it today for just half the day. Obviously doesn't mean anything yet, but I got so much done! And I even got a few things done in the second half! I think in part from momentum and in part from having proven to myself that I can.

Also shoutout to Two Pages Continuous mode, which isn't allowed to sit in the menu bar with the establishment, but plays nice with both the cover page mode and the "I just want these side-by-side" mode.
I like Preview (the Mac pdf viewer), but what do you mean you've got two menu options, "View → Two Pages" and "Right-click → Two Pages" and they're not the same thing???
The menu bar one enforces a cover page that shifts alignment by one, and sometimes you want that so yay for options, but wtf UX?

Wrote a whole scene on Friday. Sat down to write on Saturday, couldn't write a single new word, and haven't since.
Finally feeling better today, actually left the house and that helped too. Still a bit lethargic but fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Worst thing about having a cold (idk didn't do any tests) is that kinda dull, muffled feeling in your brain. You're just not present enough to do anything creative or pay proper attention to anything fun, so those days waste away, and when you're finally starting to feel better, back to work you go.
