So glad I live in the dumbest timeline, where even the most plainly written Constitutional amendments have to get ‘but ahkshully’ed’ because Trump wants a jus sanguinis immigration reich and a pretext for massive pogroms against anyone with too melanin or empathy.

The filtration of time, forgetting, and the accentuating positive experiences are what keeps us from spiraling imo. Occasional ‘deep connection’ would be powerful. Consistent connection would be maddening.

I think this sort of scenario actually kills off those ‘humans’ with perfect memory/telepathy, or at least gets very close to it. The few times we’ve discovered humans with exceptional memory we find some very depressed, near suicidal people trapped in their worst memories.

Yeah, anything more than an hour with neither 6-7 or 7-8 open is just no doable. I have a kid who enjoys sports, and thankfully the schedule is nothing like that.
