NS is fantastic at extremes of twinning vs the direst of poorly maintained Highway stretches
And by “save” we mean “keep paying, except the money has to come from all of us, including folk who try not to use gasoline”
stop saying things like:
But what if people don't take transit/walk/cycle
Delay might cause drivers to become more aggressive!
We just have a driving culture that is hard to break down
More/wider roads are part of politics
etc
yes I drive but want to be coddled a lot less
maybe we need to stop coddling drivers and do something to challenge the status quo - supporting absolute entitlement
the "sky high" gas prices here are still cheaper than gas in the UK during the lowest of low COVID prices
I mean......equivalent of leaf versus human
Crash at signalized intersection resulting in serious injuries to a 69 year old woman.
No mention of driver involvement, except to report he was not injured

A bunch of people and bikes outside at the Halifax oval
A small pylon dressed up as a raccoon with a yellow safety vest and bow in its hair
Huge turnout for the #KidicalMassHFX Spring Social at the oval today. Lots of humans and a few raccones. It was really nice getting to see everyone. I think it's safe to say bike season has started

what an incredible combination of natural coincidences!
a lot of young folks also parents with strollers use these bus stops to access services, workplaces. Definitely would not recommend they take that action! They just need safe separation and access
just dire. And something could be done to protect users on a temporary basis, but staff refuse
Finally and most importantly, describe why you (or family members) need to use the bus stop and why supporting your safe access to and from it is essential, not optional
