Released a new track this week, it is 12 minutes of slowly glitching, decaying piano. Donating all proceeds to Medical Aid for Palestinians and raised £100 so far. Check it here: jphiggins.bandcamp.com/track/octobe...

Would look something like this and there is room to detour towards the end onto other tube lines around central London if you have time

(4) walk up the road to Embankment and get on the Bakerloo line which has the oldest trains on the underground network. Either way you could head up to Baker Street where the Bakerloo platforms are the oldest station on the network and then get the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmith line back to Euston

(3) you could tap into blackfriars and go onto the bridge and then go down the district/circle line there to Westminster to see Big Ben. Then you could either get on the Jubilee line and see the newer trains which make fun swooshing noises when they pull in and out the station or

(2) The DLR heads out london but you could get off at Canary Wharf and then walk to Canary Wharf Pier and get the clipper back up the Thames under Tower Bridge and then get off at Blackfriars pier (you can tap this with a debit or oyster and this is easy, signposted and staff are on had to help)

I believe Angel has the longest escalator, it is two stops from euston on the northern line and 1 stop from kings cross. You could continue from there to Bank where you could go see the tunnel shield used for digging the tube (bsky.app/profile/lizz...) and then get the DLR. (1 of some)

Photograph of two small silver and orange pencil microphones on orange 3d printed shock mounts screwed into a stereo bar

Made some amazing sounding mics for super cheap using some em172 capsules I've had unused spare for years. Used some super cheap XLR adapters as the mic bodies and then finished them off with some 3d printed parts

Oh no you're totally right. Also the wood, and the whole design really, on the original microkorg is objectively ugly but it's charming in a runt of the litter kind of way (maybe that's nostalgia talking). Whereas the new one is just devoid of anything. It's a soylent shake of a design.

The new microKorg with no wood panels and a real screen, a hideous abomination, a testamant to the arrogance of man

It goes both ways, I have no respect for Korg, look what they have done to my poor boy

If you're using cast iron I'd just get a metal spatula, you'll reseason it faster than the metal can scrape it off and it will last forever

Disgusting but also weirdly morish is my guess, I want one

A mixer on a desk that is far too small for it

A mixer on a desk that is far too small for it

Ended up going for something slightly smaller than what I really wanted

So far I've had this three times and no one has ever sent it back, I guess they just want something for nothing and asking for it back calls their bluff

The few times I've had really difficult buyers I just gave them the only option of post it back for a full refund. If they don't post it back (they usually don't) eBay just closes the case and you keep the money

The only real option is to build a bigger desk

I keep obsessively looking at one mixer on ebay even though it absolutely would not fit on my desk

comes with quite a few caveats on how you can use it so wont be right for all uses but pages.github.com works, you can also point your own domain at it and just use it as free hosting, i host my website on it and i like it quite a lot

Two large diaphragm condensers on a mic stand in a mid -side recording setup. One is connected in the usual place hanging upside down. The other is directly underneath connected to a small arm that bolts onto the mic stand.

Unreasonably excited by this little clip on mic arm for mid-side, xy and blumlein pairs on one stand

If you're looking for an alternative the fabfilter limiter is decent
