I'm dealing with the age-old problem of wanting to blog but not knowing what to blog about. Why can’t I just think of ideas?

It wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t awake at 6am on a Saturday morning. My body clearly doesn’t know how to sleep in anymore. That’s ok, more time for coffee!

It's so fucking wild to me that companies REALLY want you to use AI, that they're really invested in you using it for who knows what reasons. Why the hell does it matter how you write your code?

The one positive about not having a full time job is not being forced to use AI. So, so glad about that.

Last day of using two planners before fully switching to my 2026 Hobonichi Weeks tomorrow. Nothing feels better than finishing one planner and starting a fresh new one. #hobonichi

A plant I bought a little over 6 years ago to celebrate getting the job I was laid off from in March is on its last legs and I’m so sad. I suppose it’s fitting, but it’s sad just the same.

Today I turned 45 and spent the day with my sister’s in-laws. I got cake and it was delightful. Oh yeah, and it was that other holiday too, but I like remembering my birthday first and foremost.

Spent this Christmas Eve / the day before my birthday getting my nails painted a glittery red, then treating myself to a sushi lunch. Now I’m home watching the snow fall and I’m feeling nice and cozy.

How I can tell it's been a rough year: I haven't been posting either here or on my blog, and I haven't wanted to listen to music in months. I want to change these now so here I am, posting! May 2026 be way, way better.

Today I ran a 5k without stopping to walk for the first time in years and while I’m not fast by any stretch of the imagination, I’m still proud of myself. Those hills were no joke!
