Personally, I wish they'd revert all the changes made in the Techpocalypse. Interaction mitigates A LOT of the shortcomings in the design (and design philosophy) of the game.
Tech is a necessary evil if they keep designing stupid, brainless stat sticks.

Do I thnk Snap knows that the Dragons are a problem? Absolutely.
Do I think they care or have any intention of changing them any time soon? No, I think the 100$ dragon bundle is a big "fuck you, deal with it." middle finger to the player base.
"If EVERYONE has dragons, it's fair!!" derpderpderp
And, almost every time, those errors revolve around the design team drastically underestimating how easy it is for players to circumvent hoops they need to jump through in order to make a card's stupidly powerful abilities go off.
AND THEN, they lean into those errors by releasing doubling cards
While I agree with KM that Arnim isn't inherently "broken," it is the Howard W. Cambell Jr. Meaning, "he is who he pretends to be"
Arnim's sole job, at this point, is to exacerbate every poor design choice that comes out in SNAP...
Most recent video from Regis, and he mentions that Arnim Zola needs to be changed. In a past video, KM and Guest opined about this, w/ KM saying Zola is a very "fair" card (or something similar, go check for 100% accuracy)
tbf, Zola is my most hated card in the game. So; thoughts: #MarvelSnap
5. At this point, I'm running an updated version of Revis's Sera Tech, because that's kinda what you have to do right now to deal with all the stupid shit running around.
It's not even about kicking down sandcastles at this point, it's about removing all the fucking sand from the beach.
4. The design team is lauded by all these content creators as being "so much smarter" than the average player. And, sure, maybe that's true
But, can these "super smart people" stop using a butter knife to balance their fucking game when OTAs come around? Cultivate diversity in deck choices, ffs.
3. There's such a design disparity between "fun" cards and "powerful" cards (at least, for my play style). Techno Organic Virus? Rama Tut? Fun and interesting. Lemme know when they can compete with 25-30pt Fin Fang Fooms thrown out on a whim or Zola'd StarLord aftermath.
#MarvelSnap thoughts for today
1. I want an emote of Shang Chi with a salt shaker.
2. This meta sucks. Gambit blowing stuff up is a miserable playing experience, skipping multiple turns feels against the spirit of what is supposed to be a quick fun game, and holy fuck... the ubiquitous dragons.
Ok, indicator location is more top/mid-left. Forgive me for not having my glasses on and looking at it on a potato level old iPhone.
Also, people keep saying "play it with Supergiant!" Am I missing something? What makes it good with Supergiant?
it seems like a "meh" card that errs on the side of fun, randomness more than legitimacy for spikes & high infinite players.
FWIW: I've used him in boardfill & buffslop decks and gotten...
Captain America, Cannonball (got him down on T1 with +energy location), Awesome Andy, and Kahoori so far.
For any #MarvelSnap players wondering, AskaniSon has a numerical indicator on the bottom left of the card that ticks up at the start of the turn if you're winning. You can then activate him to put a card of the indicator's value into a random location.
is there not some sort of premium pass available for Deadpool's Diner? Absolutely hate this LTGM and want to play it as little as possible.
Clicking on Bub counter in app doesn't give me any type of progression option.. #MarvelSnap
Congrats Eize, may all your boots taste like Freedom!
Just gonna leave this here, for all my fellow mad lads and theorycrafters looking to brew something up with Rama Tut tomorrow #MarvelSNAP
(not sure who came up with the OG graphic, but h/t to Tuccr for this one.)
theorycrafted plans for Sandstorm (and Ozymandias). Will probably roll w/ a Korg+Terrax+Darkhawk package until Ozy, Selene, etc release. // #MarvelSnap
I'm sure better #marvelsnap players could make a more streamlined deck, but I'm having fun using some of the new cards in this list.
Fun mind games with the ability to distribute points in myriad ways using Mysterio, Web, Isca, and even Miles+Shou on 6.
"After" Wish it would have hit the Cyclops instead of the Wolvie
this is the "Before" pic,. btw
This makes me feel like @laurenwhatevs.bsky.social is secretly working on a list that fills the board with 11 Gambits and a finishing trigger.
<Mr Burns voice>
Eeeeeeexcellent...
#MarvelSnap
ok, I'm gonna need everybody to refrain from playing 5 and 6 cost cards for the next few days. K, good talk. #MarvelSnap
Conversely, seems like a lot of people are pissed about the Mysterio change, but I kinda like the rework.
The brew-y side of me wants to make a deck with Mysterio and a moveable Isca. Kinda like SNAP's version of a whack-a-mole deck?
First game with new gambit and he picked off the card my opponent was trying to solo a lane with (giving me the W), so... I kinda like the guy.
However (!!!)
If Star Lord is Enemy #1 for enabling shitty #marvelsnap play patterns, multiple Gambits blowing up your stuff feels like a close 2nd, tbh.
Fuck. Yes.
<Throws money at screen>
Spread this FAR AND WIDE.
MoleMan could also be Terrax, I guess.
Not a lot of high cost options you want MM to be hitting, and Terrax has a dual role of filling oppo's deck with rocks if you win and giving buffed rock fodder if you lose.
Honestly, the card I'm looking forward to in #MarvelSnap 's March season is Ozymandias. Such a weird ability, tons to explore; fun, even if not particularly powerful. Initially looking for something like this:
One shot. Great success. #MarvelSnap
100% agree. JWala wrote something on X along the lines of "We've moved from tech slop to point slop, and its even worse"
Feel like point slop is baked into SNAP's design, but it sucks how much they have leaned into it and don't seem to give a F about balancing it.
