@rosiesherry.com also made a starter pack for the community industry peeps as well. If the @NCDD will produce the one for us, maybe we can ensure some of these people in the community architecture world are made aware as well?

I keep coming back here, and then leaving and coming back again. In this latest iteration I've been dragged back because the deliberative democratic community crews are following the NCDD here for a deliberative starter pack XD

I saw this over on facebook. I'm not on this platform very often at all but I'd be quite interested in this actually.

In Community the first 4 weeks are everything. Most #community Professionals pack their days with questions and content and 1-on-1s and that's great. But what feels emptier than a dinner party where new connections shovr random cookie cutter conversation starters and articles blindly at you?

I got access 3 days ago and within 24 hours I was inundated with meme accounts and vitriolic soon-to-be advertising pages.

Weird.

Good question!

1. Faster page loading
2. Content doesn't get obscured
3. Not getting tracked by data brokers
4. Not getting infected by ransomware via vulnerable ad networks
5. Forcing publishers to pursue real revenue streams instead of racing to the click-bait bottom

I agree with "backup plan." I think the bigger issue is the information diet algorithm. It prizes choice over consumption which is GREAT, but the recommendations it starts with aren't high quality enough. I had to actively search for the "right corner" of blue sky yesterday to get a proper feed?

12 hours and 7 vitriolic accounts of memes and debauchery later - so far unimpressed. What's your reason for staying on blue sky? Why do you believe im this platform?
