Fire Inside, track 8 on the new album, was inspired by a visit to the Colvend Coast in Galloway (where I grew up) in May 2019 to write for a few days. It was a beautiful few days in small seaside villages such as Rockcliffe & Kippford … but whilst the peace and quiet was welcome I began to mourn.
