Well I care. I’m anti-AI and anti-war, but my feeling is that if smart people and even journalists post and repost misinformation just because it reinforces our existing views we will all collectively continue to lose sight of our shared reality and ultimately each other.

Is there a credible source to this besides a couple of random Facebook accounts and this X post from an account called “Viral_Headlines” @lukeplunkett.com? I hate gen AI too but this looks like obvious bait.

As a former VG staffer I have sadly come to terms with the reality that the site is dead. Or more accurately it is a shambling zombie of a once vibrant incubator that developed many of today’s best writers, video producers and entrepreneurs. This AI muck is undoubtedly a new low.

3D All Stars physical was only sold for 6 months which created a sense of scarcity that pumped the value. I don’t think Galaxy 1+2 is getting the same treatment so I don’t expect to see its resale value to climb the same way.

I remember at uni and the kid in the dorm next to mine got a launch day PSP. Next to my DS Phat it was like putting a Ferrari and Fiat 500 side by side. It did however become apparent that the PSP had loading times and the DS had cool shit like Rub Rabbits. Checkmate.

Agree, tho I would argue the same could be said for every other console generational change. It’s only with Nintendo we expect a change in status quo. Also, Mario Kart is so well made. If any other kart racer came out of this quality everyone would be aghast. We hold Nintendo to different standards.
