I've been getting back into writing as of late.
It's been taking everything in me not to succumb to cringe culture, because that's something that's been rewarded on social media as of late.
But writing is inherently cringe, and it's something that I need to embrace instead of being ashamed of it.

We need light.
We need love.
I feel bad for not liking the MISAMO tracks. But they just don't hit as hard as the tracks from JIHYO, TZUYU, NAYEON, or even the original 9 members of TWICE who make absolutely legendary songs.
Maybe I need to relisten to them, but goodness, the magic just is not there like it normally is.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

The Kansas City airport has this place called the Sensory Room.
This place is quite literally designed for relaxation. It's a real life all-star rest area.
Red light, cushions, charger ports everywhere...it's so perfect.
If my baseline is strong, then that makes me strong.

I love how you can tell which muscle groups are people's favorites to work out in the gym.
While I was on the treadmill today, I was watching a guy do exclusively upper body workouts, and yet I look down and his legs look like sticks with decently sized calves.
Yesterday was not good for me and today has not been very kind to me either.
There will not be streams for a bit, likely primarily for this week. I hope that you all understand. Thank you.
I did decent this weekend, but I still need to fix the issue of playing so rigid in sets that I REALLY want to win.
I can play very fluid in friendlies, but in sets where I care I play extremely rigid, and I don't like how I play.
I don't know when I need to not care though.
Oh, well. Next one.
If I look good, and I feel good, then I must be good.
The nerves will wash away as soon as the bracket starts. I'm prepared and ready to give it my all.
Be like water.
I made it out of pools on the Winner's Side! I'm pretty happy about that, I will not lie. I'm very proud of how I played in my sets.
I really hope I can carry this momentum over to tomorrow.
Pools are starting.
A little nervous, but I'll do my best.
Oh, and I finally went positive in MMs vs Jahzz0! I'm really happy about that in particular. That's how I know that I'm improving.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I want to do my best to make sure I continue to get better, because I am very happy with how I am playing.
Day 1 was a lot of fun. I played Doubles with Caden, and overall my gameplay was very clean.
I clutched against Raflow in Doubles, fought back against Zie in our grind session, and held my own against Maister and Dany. It was a lot of fun and I hope I play this well in Ultimate Singles.
I'm very happy with how both of my characters are playing.
My gameplay during friendlies against Zie was very mindful and I enjoyed it a lot. I love when I can fight back against players who know how to fight Bayo.
It's so beautiful here.
Finally made it to Miami.
I'm here a lot earlier than I expected though, which isn't REALLY a problem, but I have to wait in the airport for a bit unfortunately.
Not my first rodeo though.
Art flourishes here. That's one positive that I can get behind.
Huh. You might be right.
What's funny is that I did want a bit of a social media reset, and this is one of if not the best place to do it.
The newer generation of players care a lot less about storylines and the magic of Smash. They just want to play the game and see friends.
For the most part, that magic remains alive within the Midwest scene. The tales of herculean efforts from our best players are truly the lifeblood of a scene.
