FBI agent Denise played by David Duchovny and Dale Cooper, played by Kyle Maclachlan, Twin Peaks 1990

David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.

Disgraced financier? You mean child rapist, murderer, Israeli blackmail operative, and pedophile Jeff Epstein?

Did you sell your balle and spine for as revenue? Do your fucking job and stop pulling your goddamn punches on this.

Punisher stares at Frank

Punisher stares at Frank

Frank stares at the Punisher

Frank stares at the Punisher

The semester before Covid I interviewed the local veteran community on campus for insight into writing a more authentic Frank Castle story.

I arrived at a sort of psychedelic character study where ghosts of Frank’s past would encourage or question his battle.

I’m feeling vindicated AF today.

My theory is that Andy is now making the sort of money that most authors dream of so everyone who’s books aren’t big hits (most authors) wants to take Weir down a peg.

Why else would people believe right wing grifter media blurbs so blindly?

Robert Picardo as Holographic Doctor aka the Enterprise-E'a EMH program.

In a 2012 interview, Picardo claimed to have come up with the idea of the Enterprise-E having its own EMH, pitching it to Executive Producer Rick Berman by asking, "Why does Voyager have more advanced technology than your flagship?"

When asked by Berman why this meant Picardo would play the Enterprise-E's holographic doctor instead of another actor, Picardo reasoned "Why wouldn't they look alike? It's like a popular screensaver."

Except he didn’t say he hates modern trek. He said he liked Lower Decks and Disco and Pike getting his own show cuz the interview was from 2017.

He never said he hated SFA cuz it didn’t exist when he did that interview. 🙃

The Artemis mission to the moon and discovery of new colors on the surface might be the craziest accidental movie promo possible.

With the Project Hail Mary hype and an Artemis adaption up next, this movie could give us the most realistic Moon depiction yet.

Chinese scientists reveal glowing plants that could light cities Using genes from fireflies and luminous fungi, scientists have created plants that glow in the dark.

Very interesting if it actually works. Hmmm.

Robert Picardo in costume as The Doctor with Luis Ortiz as a Borg drone on the set of STAR TREK: THE EXPERIENCE BORG INVASION 4D.

Produced in late 2002 and early 2003, the atttaction short film reunited numerous STAR TREK production staffers, including Production Designer Herman Zimmerman, VFX Producer Dan Curry, Composer Dennis McCarthy, and STAR TREK: VOYAGER writer Lisa Klink. Of the experience, Klink recalled pitching ideas for the ride that were deemed "too scary": "I wrote the script for BORG INVASION 4D, which was a movie/ride in Las Vegas, similar to STAR TOURS. The film was 3D, and the chairs could move and vibrate to create effects. The story involved the guests being abducted by the Borg and nearly assimilated by the Queen. I remember talking with the ride designers about the idea of synching up the Queen reaching long fingers toward the guests with a poke in the back of the neck from each chair – as if she touched them. They were afraid it might be too scary. What if someone had a heart attack? They ended up not doing it, which I think is a shame. The ride was a bunch of fun, though. We even got Alice Krige, the Borg Queen from FIRST CONTACT, plus Robert Picardo and Kate Mulgrew doing cameos."

Well he isn’t a fascist. He isn’t controlling the population through government.

He’s unhinged but I gotta say given our current times I’d be happy to have a Bullseye trying to make ammends right about now.

Republicans won’t do anything because they’re scared of him. Democrats won’t do anything because they gave up on their constituents a long time ago. Both sides are cashing checks while the world burns.

Gif of Samuel L. Jackson glaring at the camera with a crazed expression. Alt: Gif of Samuel L. Jackson glaring at the camera with a crazed expression.

I've messaged my Senators. Messaged my Representative (who I admit is a doddering old man).

It doesn't feel like enough.

And I can't scream and rage at them because they'll instantly dismiss me.

Even though it's acceptable for that PSYCHOPATH to do so.

I hate this.
