A white cardboard box upon which is printed an image (presumably depicting the product inside) of...some sort of creature. It is a roundish conglomeration of flower blossoms perched upon hoofed(?) feet by way of two short, spindly legs. It's face is the largest blossom set off-center near the top with two enormous hemispherical white eyes seemingly floating just in front of the petals and casting deep shadows over an otherwise sunny yellow. Two black dots lifted in a vacant stare are their only feature. Below these is a pink circular button of a nose. Its mouth is an impossibly regular gash of a pitch black smile sunken into the manifold layers of petals, defying geometry, biology, botony, and sanity in equal contemptuous measure.
The creature's nature is clear. This riotous thing is an ambush predator. Patient. Thorough. Without compassion. It hungers not for meat, but for the pure, ecstatic joy of the act of killing. Available in the home and garden section just in time for Mother's Day.

There's a certain genre of Games Writer who is so negatively polarized against The Gamers that they will happily spew reactionary bullshit if they think it'll own them, and at that point it's really just impossible to take you seriously ever again.

Shuhei Yoshida Says Jim Ryan Fired Him From PlayStation Studios "Because I Didn’t Listen to Him" Yoshida, who left Sony in 2025, spoke at Australian games festival ALT: GAMES, sharing perspective on what he believes makes a successful indie game

Shuhei Yoshida, former head of Sony Worldwide Studios, has remarked that he was "fired" by then-CEO Jim Ryan "because I didn’t listen to him."

Yoshida suggested Ryan "asked to do some ridiculous things, and I said 'No,'" before saying he highly enjoyed his subsequent PlayStation Indies role.

he basically admitted this before but it's insane to have it plainly laid out. Jim Ryan really did fuck that whole company up.

Not every NPC can be fully animated for a game like this, but that doesn't mean they can't have schedules. #screenshotsaturday #indiegame

Mamdani: "What are we fighting for?. When you look back at the history books of our party, 100 years ago we had a very clear vision of what we were fighting for. It's sad that for too many Americans, when they want to look for ambition in the Democratic Party, then have to turn to a history book."

No more Logan Paul in WWE. Anything that prick can do, Speed can do better

4 days ago 4 1 2 0

I mean, yea Logan sucks but Speed seems like a cool dude, one of the few non-political big streamers that speaks up about Palestine and Trans rights. So that's a W in my book

Linda Yaccarino replies to a Zohran Mamdani tweet to say that taxing rich people's penthouses is "actually one of the scariest things I have ever seen"

Zohran Mamdani said he's going to start taxing rich people who buy luxury housing in NYC but don't actually live in there, and the former CEO of Twitter/X called it "actually one of the scariest things I have ever seen."

Really happy to see this! Their previous posts made it seem that genAI in coding was ok despite not allowing everything else, but this clarification is really appreciated, I will be buying Season 3

I really, *really* appreciate this clarification and stance

the whole vibecoding thing is a very transparent attempt to beat down white collar work the way the system beat down blue collar work and it's very funny to see engineers not realize this

even completely disregarding the ghoulish defacing of the dead, this is perhaps the pinnacle of modern corporations being utterly fucking terrified of doing anything new. They would rather cast a movie with moving death masks.
