Hard to believe this is the final day of my two-week Maddock Research Fellowship in @marshslibrary.bsky.social. It's been an amazing 2 weeks, and fantastic to have the opportunity to consult so much material during my Fellowship.

Back to my old haunt while waiting for the Liverpool flight. Still find airports a good place to get some writing done!

Last month I spent an enjoyable morning in the 'real' Hollywood (Co. #Wicklow) talking with Deric from Ireland AM about the #history of St. Kevin's Way, which stretches from Hollywood Village to Glendalough, following in the footsteps of St. Kevin.

The Irish Times has a nice, but brief, reference to the social and moral 'discussion' about these drinks in a short article published in 1993.

One of the more unusual things I've found when doing some work in the fields, I have to say. A Woody's alcoholic lemonade bottle!. It was described as "wickedly refreshing" when launched in to the Irish market nearly 30 years ago, in 1996!
