People often complain about having to wait in ER waiting area for hours and hours for something non life threatening, but when your life is on the line I actually will take our public health system over private any day of the week.

I’m also incredibly lucky that I get 100% free psych sessions through open arms being a child of a veteran. They are sometimes a bit funny though and sometimes I have to go through Medicare and then cycle back into the system but who can complain

Id be dead without it for sure! I’ll be having my 9th CT scan in a month, oncology appts every 6 months since my diagnosis, not to mention all the onc appts during Chemo, plus major surgery etc and lifetime of colonoscopies and the most I’ve ever paid was about $40 for my chemo drugs every 3 weeks.

I’m not sure why but I’m slightly obsessed with the Artimis thing. I watched the launch briefly held my breath and now that they are coming back into the re entry period all I keep thinking about is the Columbia disaster

The mission has been quite wholesome, and I hope they all make it back safely

Last night this plane flew over my house, and it had an unusual sound to it. Like it was too low but also too big of a plane to be that low. Honestly my first thought was has world war 3 started.

I swear one of these days I’ll wake up and world war 3 will actually have started

I’ve got a relative who I would say isn’t necessarily a Trump “supporter” but had they been an American would have voted for Trump in the last election. Even they recently have been saying that he has lost the plot and calling him dangerous.

Hail Mary is just so beautiful. I read the book before seeing the movie but the movie alone is spectacular. Try and see it on the biggest screen you can with recliners cause with previews it’s 3 hours. I want to see it again before it leaves the cinemas but hoping to go see it on imax

It wasn’t bad! Samara weaving does good in horror I think, but enjoyed the first one more. I do enjoy SMG in that type of role too, everyone else was a bit meh

I wasn’t sure whether I was gonna see this or not, the trailer didn’t do much for me, but might have to check it out, you seem to have a good taste in films 😉

My favorite part of any movie is when the lights go down and the movie starts, it’s like this ohhh here we go moment and sometimes you wanna take a nap, and sometimes you walk out of the theater a changed person. Just love having so much joy for it again.

I’m so glad that I’ve fallen in love with cinema again and have just really been enjoying going and watching movies I normally would never really bother to watch in general let alone bother to watch at home.

I’ve seen more movies at the cinemas this year than I have in the last 2 years combined. Cinemas has always been my happy place, going alone is like therapy, and also it’s a little connection to my dad as well as he and I used to go together all the time.

I’m not like a horror movie fan. I pretty much will only watch the scream movies and that’s it. But really loved the first ready of not, can’t wait to see the 2nd one!

I’m nearly finished reading project Hail Mary, and honestly it’s the best damn. Ok I’ve read in a loooong time! I’m not even into like sci/fi books either. I just don’t want this book to end.
It is making me so damn excited for the movie though and I hope it’s just as good as the book has been

Wow! I’m lost for words, how could any clinic think implementing something like that would actually fly with patients.

I know! I can handle seeing one crawl across the floor in like the kitchen or something, or even the bedroom, as gross as it is. But my bedside table! Like how it got up there in the first place is the stuff of nightmares, and then the fact that it was there!

2:55am and I was in a lovely little sleep until I heard a faint strange noise next to me. Turned in my light and there’s a fuckijg mouse on my bedside table! Wtf there’s no food sources in here! 🤢🤢

I’m also loving it too, but often think the same. I think I love it because it almost feels nolstagic, like the fashion and just that time period too!
The last episode with the mum talking to JFKjnr was heartbreaking.

I’ll have to check it out, i usually just put the peppermint oil in some cotton wool and throw it in there after cleaning, so a spray might actually be better
