Also brings the anxiety down

You know, sometimes you just have to do that.

Today I've learned a little of the history of Sakhalin island, and also about the four species of avocets (Recurvirostra), Yongcheon Cave, and the Canadian folk musician Stan Rogers.

It has definitely made me a more well-rounded, gracious, and grateful person! Hard work always wears you out, but it also has a way of either wearing you down, or making you grateful... sometimes both.

Unfortunately it was not... I was just a teenager, and I had to be at work at 5:30am, and it was a very large area I had to clean alone. 🙁🙁🙁 In different circumstances it might have been! 😅

I didn't have the word count here to write them all. I've been working for a long time.

A pop-up card produced by the Sanrio company and sold in Japan. This card depicts hydrangeas in full bloom behind a window pane, with a sparkle effect for rain on the window. The card is made of three layers of material - the back have hydrangeas, and the front has the window illustration. Taken together, it is a 3D window. It's not visible in the photo, but on the back of the card is room for a message. My friend has written to me about the rainy season in Tokyo.

Today I've learned about Belarusian gobelin weaving, the hydrangea season in Japan, and how to say "my garden is teeming with insects" from a native speaker. ✨

Pretty good, pretty good, thank you! My garden is really starting to come alive now that we've had this warmer weather. The sunflowers have started to bloom. I'm enjoying the last of the relatively cool and lower humidity days before BIG SUMMER sets in here in the south 😆

Behold! Passiflora incarnata, better known as passionflower, and to some, maypop or even wild apricot! Today, while working under the floppy canopy, I'd hoped I'd found every hungry ant who found her way on to me... unfortunately, hours later at my desk, I'm finding that it was not quite the case...
