What’s the most interesting paper ppl have read this month?
Sounds very interesting! Good luck with your project.
(Ironically it’s obvious Trump, a born billionaire, is part of the establishment and status quo ppl are resenting)
You touched on a good point on the media’s role. The status quo doesn’t serve the average person anymore, they yearn for an anti establishment figure who isn’t a conventional careerist politician. That’s why ppl are drinking MAGA’s and reform’s poisonous kool aid. The media reinforced Trump as that.
Congrats!
Look at the leaders of the dems in America, lost two elections in the last three they should’ve won and have blamed their own voter base, external factors, and everyone but themselves.
I think it isn’t stemming from the average progressive person, that narrative is being created because the leadership of parties that are supposed to be progressive are elitist and out of touch with their voterbase.
Sounds good 👀
This is why philosophy, liberal arts, and other humanities will be more appreciated again. Critical thinking and reading literacy in an AI world are imperative. Ppl need technical skills AND philosophical skills.
Possibly one of the best kinda finds you can have in archeology surely?! Wow
My latest for the @nytimes.com! You may not have heard, but scientists ever have gotten their first glimpse of flesh-and-blood sabertooth, courtesy of a frozen kitten from the Siberian permafrost 🧪
www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... - an interesting paper covering the on going progress towards digitalising brains, conveying how integrating anatomy, neurotransmitter dynamics, and functional activity can reshape our understanding of brain function and its far-reaching applications.
Sounds very interesting! Congrats!
Definitely gonna have to check this out!
Oooo thank you!

The culture on threads wasn’t great because it just imported it from Instagram, and the app features sucked tbh.
Hiroshi Nagai isn’t spoken about enough
If you know BCI or general neurotech starter packs, don't be shy to @ me 😁

critical thinking and a growth mindset is imperative
NASA’s new rendering of the Christmas Tree Nebula
very christmassy
I hope bluesky is here to stay, so many useful features, a steadily growing user base, keeps the best parts people missed about Twitter but it feels fresh with the innovative starter packs, control over your own algorithm, and decentralisation.
quite liking this bluesky thing yk
(1/5) Very excited to announce the publication of Bayesian Models of Cognition: Reverse Engineering the Mind. More than a decade in the making, it's a big (600+ pages) beautiful book covering both the basics and recent work: mitpress.mit.edu/978026204941...
lmao
Yeah BCIs have immense potential to improve society.
But issues like these convey the need for consumer protection from invasive and unethical agents.
Users must maintain their autonomy.
Such an iconic quote. Definitely one of my favourites!
