Awful lot of self reporting going on in the discourse around this game

Two Women (Deux Femmes En Or)
Great fun, lots of the same type of morbid laughs as The Drama (here largely in Why Are Men Like This flavour) and classic sex comedy chuckles, lots to say about womens' sexual empowerment & liberation that I'm of course unqualified to comment on but yeah, sounds good!
come on man.

this game is so good
what more can be said
Anyway play Talos Principle! It's so good!! I was supposed to spend this weekend playing Tomodachi Life and Pragmata and while I will absolutely be getting back to those next I just spent the whole weekend pretty much wanting to play through Talos. Terrific stuff. Gotta start the sequel soon.
While I think the difficulty of the core campaign is near perfect, the extra campaigns (the original game's DLC, and a new one) go a bit too crazy imo, but maybe that's just me. Just about cleared Road To Gehenna, but In The Beginning felt like a brick wall. Want to give it another shot later though
Early 3D Pokemon renders by Keiji Kinebuchi from the late 1990s that got my brain wired up
The Talos Principle: Reawakened
Played the original a year or so ago but its been long enough that I'd basically forgotten all the puzzles. Still an all-time favourite, love the layering of puzzles and the bittersweet melancholy but ultimately hopeful story, and this remake is gorgeous too.
Me adding IDK though to my advice in case it ruins their life
Lee Cronin's The Mummy
A bit like having someone wave a rotting squirrel carcass around in your face going "oooOOOOoooo isn't this gross? isn't this unpleasant???" like yeah man I guess so. The gore here shoots straight past affecting and into goofy and desperately tryhard and the story's rubbish.
Akira
Another great one to see on the big screen. Animation's still phenomenal. Dunno what else to say, it remains a genre classic.
Rewatched Project Hail Mary a few days ago so that's technically the most recent but that was a rewatch with friends within weeks of the first time I saw it so I'm not counting it

Fire Emblem (GBA) (unfinished)
This is the closest I've got to finishing one, but like DQ6 its been shelved too long. Enjoyed it more when I started "ironman"-ing it, rolling with mistakes & losses rather than resetting, but I think strategy isn't really my thing & the story was doing little for me
Dragon Quest VI (unfinished)
Yeah yknow what. Probably not finishing this. It's been shelved too long and I don't think this series ever fully clicks with me. It's the glacial pacing & endless diversions from anything progressing the actual main plot that kills it. Gorgeous sprite animation though.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ooh, neat-AAAAAAAAAAAAH
Exit 8 (2026 film)
Good cinema double bill tonight, this is a pretty great adaptation. Occasionally feels a little stretched thin but there's some great little twists and turns and the concept was already at a baseline a really good one back when it was a video game. Good stuff.
Amelie
The classic odd duck romance, always did like this one. Great to see on the big screen too.
a message to nobody except me four hours ago - if you're gonna play this in modern times on a modern monitor, crank that brightness WAY down. Got all the way to the end before I realised I'd never used, or needed, the torch in my inventory, and that definitely wasn't the intended experience. oops!
Penumbra Overture
Real old one from the backlog - bought this back in 2012! While it doesn't hold a candle (lantern?) to the scares of their later hit with the Amnesia series (the dogs just aren't very scary monsters), Frictional had the tense atmosphere down pat real early. Pretty good stuff.
