599000 Lire were 469€ circa. I remember PS2 was expensive for the average italian wallet. It's one of the 2 reasons my parents never bought me one. (The other one being I already had a PS1 and they saw no difference). 😂
Thankfully I had friends with PS2 and I played these games at their home.
