Soon enough, the entertainment industry will be like, hey where should all our music and movie stars go to promote their new stuff?

In his report, Agent Casper talks about how the analysts were able to cross reference a letter from the bombers with similar rhetoric on a white supremacy website.
President Bartlet says “the internet has been a phenomenal tool for hate groups.”
This post isn’t about The West Wing.
In season 4 of “The West Wing”, episode 3 entitled “College Kids”, FBI Agent Mike Casper is updating President Bartlet about information from a recent pipe bomb explosion on a college campus.
Here’s my take on why Trump was basically silent for several days: Gavin Newsom is getting to him. Mockery works and the only way to deflect it is to disappear.
The allergy is called alpha-gal syndrome which can cause a variety of symptoms, including hives, nausea, shortness of breath or anaphylactic shock, two to six hours after eating red meat or other mammal products.
Kansas City leaders have recently started to reimagine a future that repairs some of Highway 71's sins.
"Anybody who has ever tried to walk across the highway understands just how frustrating and challenging it is," Mayor Quinton Lucas has said. https://loom.ly/tXiwYQk
Why is it acceptable for the president to use taxpayer money to fly overseas and cut a ribbon at his own golf course?
Don’t normalize this abuse of office. It’s blatant corruption.
The Epstein story has an inescapable stench of prurience and antisemitism. And South Park––nihilistic both-siders and stand-ins for my generation's easy slide into fascism––getting under the skin of our cruel, vain, stupid president by stooping to exactly his level is a complicated win.
A reminder that after years of speaking out against Epstein and giving other survivors the courage to come forward, Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre died by suicide in April at the age of 41.
Let's not forget that there are real human tragedies behind everything we're discussing.

Let the Church be reminded of the greatest commandments: Love the Lord your God, and your neighbor as yourself.
I fear, that pastors who remain quiet about endorsements will be viewed as lukewarm by right wing conservatives, and as milquetoast by leftist progressives.
But I remain optimistic for, and endeavor toward, a third way: faithfulness to Jesus’ ministry of mercy and righteousness.
This will add nothing but noise to the landscapes of both politics and American Christianity, and benefit neither. Pastors that are in purple churches will remain silent, and so the extremes get pushed farther out and more populated as people feel the pressure to take a side / join a team.
The only pastors that will go along with the new IRS interpretation of the Johnson Amendment will be ones that are already endorsing politicians and have never been in trouble for it, and ones that are in politically homogenous congregations where it’s safe to “mix politics and religion”.
FOUND IT! The mind palace isn’t what it used to be but I finally dug it up.

My wife, for starters.
Spot on. This is the clearest explanation I’ve seen. It ‘s relatable, and humanizes the issue in a way everyone can understand.
I HATE seeing something cool on the gram, then not being able to find it again. It was a 3 piece punk rock band, female singer, against a concrete wall or in a big tunnel. Was loud and rad.
Ahem
Seems important.
Two funerals today. Graveside and a memorial service. Now seeing the latest news about bombing Iran and I’m sitting down to rework tomorrow’s sermon.
I had a graveside today in this heat & wind. At least we had the canopy. Can’t imagine an outdoor wedding. No thanks.
Just re-upping this from 2 weeks ago for apparent reason.

What an incredible photo.
On Sunday, astro-photographer Andrew McCarthy captured the moment the International Space Station passed across our sun.
