I was taught double space after every period. Its a carryover from when typewriters were a thing, despite growing up in the computer age. Is it pointless? Yeah, pretty much. But I'm in no rush to break the habit. I like it in a weird way- like the Oxford comma. Until I run out of characters lol

Between college dorm, summer with family, and once or twice on my own. And even post college for landlord problems and financial ones. I've been where I am now for 3 years and its the longest since highschool.

I dont really consider it a bad thing, but I dont have to "childhood house" memories the same way people do. Its more sporadic across multiple houses. The longest I ever stayed in one place was ~5 years during mid and highschool. After moving out it still feels like I'm constantly on the move.

Of all the things that stand out from my childhood compared to others, I think one of the most overlooked is how my family had a tendency to move houses 2-3 years. I still spent 15 in the same city when I was growing up, but settling down always felt a little impermanent.
