This massive building blended The Metropolis, Legends of the Metropolis, Under the Metropolis, Cliffs grass tiles, Hedge walls, Stone walls, and too many prop sets to count!

The Metropolis stands alone, but is a also great companion to the Under the Metropolis set. It's a full building kit, which is to say in addition to new walls, floors, stairs, posts and railings, it has a complete roof and truss system to go with it.

The Under the Metropolis set led to a favorite add-on of mine: Legends of the Metropolis! Featuring @kevslounge.bsky.social artwork turned into mosaics, they tell stories right inside the terrain. Best of all, they are all paper minis, so every mosaic you use can foreshadow the encounters to come!

I scaled one WAY up because I’ll either have this be a massive boss, or I will have the crystals fuse together during the fight. Keep the players on their toes!

You can find these ruby elementals on the Trash Mob Minis Patreon (circa March 2025). I did some mods to resize and move the arms a bit for variety.

The mines weren’t as empty as we had thought! These could be crystal golems used by an evil wizard using the mines to harvest some source of magic. These could be entities from another plane, entering through a rift accidentally opened during mining operations. #ttrpg

Any of our other props that should be added in this area? I have some ideas.
