mRNA tech is some of the coolest, most powerful, most promising scifi shit humans are currently doing. They are being investigated to help with cancers, autoimmune diseases, M.S., stroke recovery, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and high cholesterol.

There was a time you couldn't compare consoles by their AMD GPU memory bandwidth. They were fundamentally different visions of how you even write software. Of what the future would be. And they got it wrong. Until the convergence. Things were special until they weren't.

Mums for Nuclear
Sponsored • Paid for by Mums for Nuclear
From groceries to school shoes to energy bills — everything’s going up.

And when electricity becomes more expensive, it affects every part of family life. The good news? It doesn’t have to be this way. Nuclear energy offers a low-cost, stable source of power that doesn’t rely on the weather or international fuel markets.

won't a lot of these supposed mums be grandmums by the time it would be built?

Saying that "autism is preventable" is essentially saying that autistic people should not be born.

It's a eugenicist claim.

I miss utes (utility vehicles for non-austalians) that weren't the size of monster trucks. My 90s lifted Hilux 4x4 looked small next to a modern Hilux!

Noting Rowling’s vast financial success, Barker felt that Rowling’s newfound position of fame ought to exclude her from discussing trans rights. He added, “It really just seems redundant for a woman as successful, as validated in the world, as Ms Rowling, to be negative, to be disruptive if you will, to a very beaten up subculture. These are human beings. She has no right to opine, I think, upon the lives of human beings that she does not know.”

“I feel very protective of people who are on the edge of our culture as gay people still are,” Barker continued. “And certainly transgender people are on the edge of our culture. And here you have one of the most successful people in the frigging world – Ms Rowling. Going after a very emotionally vulnerable portion of our culture. It just seems unnecessary and unfair.”

Clive Barker gets it.

I had a meeting with my VP last year and I communicated how I sometimes felt like I was not being bold enough and I just wanted to understand I had their support.

They told me, to the effect, our job is to operate understanding things are going to break doing nothing.

We should be doing something.

My silly little #twitch integration got a bit of an overhaul via #Cursor, which has been proving to be a useful tool of late. #AI isn't a replacement for solid engineering practices or experience, but it very much pairs well with them.

I can't say I particularly enjoyed help desk, though I may have enjoyed it a little more if I'd been diagnosed with ADHD earlier. However the experiences I gained during those years have proven to be invaluable in my roles since.

This may sound sappy but this is the gist of what "technology connections" are.

Most everyday machines work on pretty basic concepts. They're designed to be convenient to use and effective, but when you understand the concepts through which they work you can adapt those concepts to new problems!

Reasons why giving birth with dolphins is not recommended:

Dolphins are wild animals that can be unpredictable and dangerous.
Lack of medical expertise:
Dolphins do not have the medical knowledge or skills to assist with childbirth.

Reasons why giving birth with dolphins is not recommended: Safety concerns: Dolphins are wild animals that can be unpredictable and dangerous. Lack of medical expertise: Dolphins do not have the medical knowledge or skills to assist with childbirth.

1. I get served an unintentionally hilarious video on Instagram of someone claiming that giving birth with dolphins ensures there is no pain in childbirth and your kid will have a 150 IQ.
2. I google to see where this theory comes from.
3. I get served an AI answer with this amazing sentence.

Quote from me: Calling a predictive model ‘non-decision making’ is an oxymoron, it is a contradiction in terms. Predictions always involve decision-making: which theory to investigate, which target to pursue

This is why I turn off all autoplay and do not swipe up video after video. I want to be in the loop, as growing up undiagnosed ADHD meant I spent enough of my time with my attention outside of my control.

I think it’s not helpful to repeat claims that the administration is working on eliminating “DEIA” as though it’s some kind of corporate strategy; just say explicitly that they’re trying to eliminate diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and explain how.

Elon replies “You are fully retarded.

SpaceX could have brought them back several months ago.

I OFFERED THIS DIRECTLY to the Biden administration and they refused.

Return WAS pushed back for political reasons.

Idiot.”

Andreas Mogensen replies “Elon, I have long admired you and what you have accomplished, especially at SpaceX and Tesla.

You know as well as I do, that Butch and Suni are returning with Crew-9, as has been the plan since last September. Even now, you are not sending up a rescue ship to bring them home. They are returning on the Dragon capsule that has been on ISS since last September.”

A tweet from Elon Musk. It reads “It is time to begin preparations for deorbiting the @Space_Station.

It has served its purpose. There is very little incremental utility.

Let’s go to Mars.”

Elon’s busy schedule today is claiming astronauts were left in the ISS for political reasons, getting corrected by an ISS astronaut, throwing a fit where he calls the astronaut a slur, then complaining that we should deorbit the ISS
