Kubuntu based laptop decided to drain full battery in 3 hours, refuses to charge, lost its app panel on additional monitor that was disconnected hours ago....

Canonical developers are trying hard to prove that it was the right choice not to hire them anywhere.

Some places in #NYC are just great beyond description. Siberia was recently reopened. If you don't know about it - Google, it has a long history. And now you can meet the founder again. He is amazing!

Tried to find a good omakase after disappointment with Yoshino (pretentious and overpriced). I guess I found one: Kun Tsuki is reasonably priced, friendly, interesting and tasty.

Not to criticize Tony Awards, but there is a big difference between some "best musicals". Random example: primitive "Book of Mormons", that looks more like high school drama production. And "Outsiders" that are just brilliant...

New York is amazing. This was taken some time ago, but something serene about this picture keeps me smiling.

Re: NYC congestion pricing. It seems NJ forgot the foundation of democracy: the needs of the many (MTA service area population ~15M) outweigh the needs of the few (NJ pop. ~9.5M)

With all the changes promised to the public education system in US, I can't help but thinking about apprenticeship system - isn't it essentially a distributed education vs public which is centrally controlled, centrally abused and spof susceptible?
