I can't speak for anyone else but watching everyone I love get sicker at such breakneck speed is killing me. I don't want to attend the funerals of everyone I love in the next 10 years. I don't know how to cope. I guess that's why everyone acts like it's fine.

One of my teachers wasn't coughing at all when I started a year ago but she's been coughing all the time ever since coming back from summer break. She's like 33 and a non-smoker. She still talks like the year she had to mask was the hardest thing she's ever had to do.

One of the reasons I'm so constantly angry is because everywhere I look all I see is increased illness and everyone just acts like it's fine. Like this is just life past 20 or 30 or 40 or whatever number they want to use at that time.
