The seal on the top of the tea
My bestie got me tea to pair with a book I have. It is smooth with hints of smoke. I’ve read the book already, but plan to go through it for a compare and contrast. This tea is going to be perfect to drink on while I drown myself with notes!

A jar of Spiced coconut black tea from Old Growth Alchemy
A happy mail day! Got a jar of my absolute favorite tea of all time from @ashenalchemy.bsky.social ! I was so happy to see this in the shop, as I was heartbroken when my little bag from the Patreon was used up.
there will be plenty of things out there that are not to your taste, but this culture of saying yuck to sincerity to get little more than an empty laugh - it will destroy your heart.
Shop will be going on a hiatus from April 23-May 9 while I move! All orders placed during that time will not ship until after May 9.
The OGA Tea Guild has once more reopened to new members! The theme this month is fairy tale with the member tea being a white tea with apple pieces and blossoms, black peppercorn, and blood red beet pieces! www.patreon.com/oldgrowthalchemy

I know I’ve said this before but it bears repeating:
We need your queer books more than ever. They’re the only thing getting us through the day sometimes. You’re literally saving lives.
Can’t wait to vend the Pulp Lit Bazaar once more! Join me and many others at Die With Your Boots On in Salem on March 28, 7-10pm.
This is what your reposts and signal boosts can do for independent artists.
To that end, my order processing time is at 7-10 business days due to present higher than normal order volume. But in general, this is going to be my standard processing time going forward. I’m going through major life changes and this is a one person operation. Thank you for understanding.
Reminder when you order from small businesses to check their order processing times and to not expect them to magically be shorter than what they have listed. Sometimes they might be and that is a bonus, not the norm.
Today is the last day to join the OGA Tea Guild for March. This month’s theme is Frost Melt and it is the two year anniversary of the guild so all members will receive a little extra token of appreciation. The tea for this month is an oolong blend with peach and snow plum blossoms.
A leather book with a crack in the leather along the shoulder with detached board
A leather book with mostly detached boards and crumbling leather spine

Leather book that has been rebacked with leather and spine reattachment
A little leather reback from a workshop at school. In an ideal world I would have completely retooled the spine to replicate the existing tooling that was crumbling away, but the point was to practice spine lifting and reattachment. This is volume 2 of the odyssey.

HAPPY RELEASE DAY to the fourth Rowan Blood book, and my sixth published book— I am so grateful for everyone who has joined Saffron & Cylvan on their journey this far, we’re about halfway through and things are only going to intensify from here 🫣🩸✨
Unfortunately due to shipping regulations as a business to the EU and UK I have had to suspend to those areas. I am so sorry! I really wish I could re-open it but the regulations are confusing to navigate at the scale of business I am. I am really hoping I can re-open it when things are clearer!
I cannot speak to the brew glitter but I do not work in a certified gluten free facility nor are the ingredients I use certified. That being said, none of them *contain* gluten in any way that I am aware of.
Lapsang souchong curls around the back of the brew, reminiscent of the smoke of long distant fires which is smoothed and sweetened with the rich amber notes from honeybush. And while the brew swirls in your cup when caught in the light, enjoy the mesmerizing effect of shimmering glittery gold.
sweet golden honey. Lemon and orange dance together in a play of citrus reminiscent of the scent of a certain man now called Dorian and when mixed with vanilla, hint at the orange blossoms of Zachary Ezra Rawlin's drink to enter the Harbor and his favorite mixed cocktail, the Sidecar….

An upside-down American flag hangs from El Capitan near Yosemite National Park’s Horsetail Fall on Saturday to protest the thousands of federal job cuts made by President Donald Trump’s administration. Tracy Barbutes/Special to the Chronicle
Brilliant protest. Yosemite National Park workers hung an upside-down American flag — traditionally a symbol of distress or a national threat — thousands of feet off the ground on the side of El Capitan.
