Our local store was Dee’s. They sold anything music related. I don’t recall them selling candy. Charleroi had a lot of locally owned shops but we did have a Montgomery Wards. There were a lot at shoe stores. Every year they would advertise to come to Shoeleroi for back to school shoes.
