Yea we are going over music written on a page , Ornette’s music freed us but it was not a bunch of blasting like many think , it was written we had theory structure to follow it was Ornette’s music theory HARMOLODICS .
Ornette had a long running tradition of celebrating his birthday with friends at his loft in NYC ,I was able to attend quite a few . In 2020 Denardo had a party celebrating him ,here we are going over some music we are about to play in what used to be Ornette’s studio .
