hey everyone! so my next youtube video is gonna be discussing ai music videos vs the low budget but real music videos by the same artists, and how the latter is always better in multiple ways i thought it would be cool to highlight some other diy music videos at the end in a compilation/playlist, so if you have one then pls link it!! i wanna show what can be done and how it's just cool to actually make things

tbh i usually know what i have to do, just those things are often hard lol
it's verse melodies i seem to spend most of my time on lmao i'm sooo picky with the melodies as that's v much my priority
love lyrics too but i find i can write more interesting lyrics when there's a tune
i am trying to deliberately incorporate the practise of finishing songs into my regular writing, whether that's something i do after the new idea session or instead of
i seem to be a decent editor/rewriter so if i need to i can always come back to songs and finish them later
that's why when i have the time and energy to write i would rather spend that on coming up with new ideas that excite me
although it is also good practise to finish songs too
i have decided recently to actually try and finish the songs i need to before i start on new ideas
