Agreed, and I love their commitment to grey/white color only. Even years later I can immediately pick out an Orphanoch out of a crowd of random Kamen Rider monsters.

NASA and Mamdani are proving that Americans are desperate to see their money spent in ways they feel good about.

This, however, is not the same thing as simply spending the money on things we would feel good about but never know happened. People need to be able to see it.

I don't recall any previous transformative technologies that had to be sold to the public so hard. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"

Four panel meme. First panel shoes a bearded man in a hat driving a truck with the text saying “Now who the heck put this junk on the road?” The second panel is Lucille Bluth looking suspicious. The third panel the man removed his hat and beard and it’s Shigeru Jo! The text reads “That would be me!” The final panel is an excited Lucille Bluth and the text reads “SHIGERU JO!!!”

AI star symbol.

AI star symbol.

It's funny (not funny) how this ubiquitous symbol screams 'beware, incoming trash!' I have an instant reaction of revulsion whenever it pops up.

I’ve really liked Gavan Infinity so far but it’s pretty weak on the Mech side of things. Omegahorn on the overhand sounds like Rangers who have to hunt down and train their mechs/zords/kaiju and that’s an incredibly exciting concept!!!

I'm not saying that the reason this place falls over fucking constantly now is vibe coding and AI brain rot.

No.

Wait.

I am saying that.

It’s hard to explain without spoiling a lot of Kabuto but he has reasons for his perfection and vulnerabilities that haven’t been explored yet. Some folks never like him, but I actually think he’s an incredible character and I love his passion for good food and family.

I’ve never played VTM and never really had an interest in the system…but then Emily Axford went and ate an entire tomahawk missile. I had no idea VTM could kick that much ass.

As long as you enjoy Monster-Of-The-Week episodic content, you’ll love it. Stronger has been my favorite Showa Era season so far! I definitely recommend it!

Kamen Rider Stronger

Maybe Stronger? His suit looks a little goofy next to modern day ones but in his own series it actually rules.

I love this! It was cool that Gavv and Valen got Christmas forms but you’re so right, a Halloween Form would have been incredible. All it would have taken would be a “Limited time only pumpkin gummy”.

The original Kamen Rider is also available on that channel, but IMO Showa era seasons are easier to enjoy after you’ve watched a couple of modern seasons to get a feel for the tropes. Older seasons are also VERY episodic while modern ones are more serial and have longer running plot lines.
