To my non tech normies, PSA: when you share a link, everything after the ? is tracking. Those “query parameters” tell companies exactly how you arrived, what app you clicked, which ad or email sent you, sometimes a unique identifier tied to you. You can delete everything after the question mark.

My old dog is starting to go a bit deaf. Sometimes she doesn’t hear me come home so I get her confused excitement when she wakes up & sees me there. (I do have a little panic every time she doesn’t come to greet me though 💔)

I have a (minor) procedure tomorrow (nothing serious). I’m scared! I think mostly because it’s not a procedure I’ve had before so it’s an unknown.

It’s booked for quite early in the morning so at least it will be done as soon as possible (less time for me to worry about it).

I caught a bit of a press conference with the ArtemisII astronauts yesterday. It sounded like the questions were from school children. The astronauts did a fab job of adjusting their language and explaining things in a way the children could understand.

That’s so frustrating.
I don’t think it really needs to be a same day appointment, but there doesn’t seem to be another option at this point. The GP secretary did tell me the same day appointments are routine 🤷‍♀️

I need to make an appointment with a GP. Every time I’ve phoned recently they haven’t got any advance appointments available so the only option is to phone at 8am to try & get a same-day appointment. That is… not ideal when one of my main symptoms is fatigue… 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

No, Asexuality isn’t a result of SSRI’s.

That’s an insult to Asexual people, and totally ignorant of one of the (rare) side effects of SSRI’s.

Lack of libido is not the same as being Asexual.

However, British Psychological Society guidance on gender, sexuality & relationship diversity (2024) includes “people who identify as asexual” & says “the identities and practices considered here are not in themselves pathological and are part of human diversity”

I mean, there are 2 conditions in the DSM-5 (psychiatry/psychology diagnosis ‘bible’) that basically describe asexuality. Both have a criterion that it causes “clinically significant distress in the individual”. 1/
