Have you seen these rare icy hairs before? It forms thanks to a fungus?! ❄️🍄

This is hair ice, aka ice wool & frost beard. It’s a rare phenomenon because it needs specific conditions to grow, including just below freezing temperatures and the presence of a specific fungus called Exidiopsis effusa!
