In the 70's, it and Knotts Berry Farm were readily available and affordable to locals among other attractions like the Japanese Deer Garden and the Alligator Farm. There was also Santa's Village in the San Bernardino Mtns. It is a thing to have a "Grad Night" at Disneyland for HS Seniors.
