great! that was my expectation as a user.

like what @mauve.moe did in Agregore for reading/writing IPFS CIDs
1994/5... no smartphones ๐ญ
long before i computered, i lived in New Orleans, and left with a particular set of skills:
i can peel and de-vein 1000 shrimp with my eyes closed
i can pit a 5 gallon bucket of kalamata olives in an hour, with a carrot peeler
i can make and transport a life-sized albino alligator cake

plating the micro khao soi

toasting nori for tuna quesabirria
atprotocaps
i used a somewhat similar (but very crude) approach in p2pds
modeling consent in open systems via mutuality of records
no explicit acceptance though
your approach is more explicit, can handle far more sophisticated use-cases
yesss i was going to make a local utility for epub conversion of my readermode exports and transfer, but this looks way more convenient. thanks for the example!
in this rating scale, is one dick better or worse than a bag

ok mission control saying tilt it to the left a bit more
dude... how much pho do you think...
shut up and push!
zero days since last incident sign
0 days since an off-leash dog raked their claws down my leg
while the "owner" laughs "oh sorry sorry sorry"
and i get to relive how i got this scar on my hand
there's a triangle here
maybe even a pentangle or octangle?
- local first (for real tho)
- post-publisher resilience
- privacy (n dimensions)
- performance (n dimensions)
- transport agnosticity
- probably more
nothing comes for free
"browser" is far too limiting for what we can do with atproto.
box too small. ceiling too low.
*gates too kept*
avoid those constraints.
(until we change *how* web engines are made... working on that ๐ค)
on the left, Canada, with a quote from a hotel website: "planning ahead for the soccer tournament?" on the right, Mexico, where the airport in Mexico City has already put tiny goals in the urinals
Mexico: you can't NOT know the world cup is coming
Canada: this was the *only* mention I saw while there for a *week*
we're going to be jetlagged... which is maybe perfect for trying to see as much of the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival as possible?
hrm, or maybe accidentally sleeping in the theatre

haha wow task alignment, or at least narrowing, is the opening pitch! would be cool to chat about this sometime!

Peek tries to be invisible by design (let web pages exist in their author-intended form) and also a "workbench" more than a "browser" - the result has ended up being generally unobtrusive, letting the content / data drive the UX.
Glad you like it also!
re discoverability, I was imagining a record type, so you could query/index renderer records for a given lexicon.
OH: "a very large browser deployment is indistinguishable from a botnet"
this was said in a security context.
but is also the thinking behind putting p2p capabilities in browsers since as long as we've been trying to do that.
Popfeed PWA on iOS works great so far.
HOT, hadn't read this yet!
experimenting with vaguely similar things, e.g. the post below.
i'm less inclined for declaring renderer in the lexicon.
am interested in protocol level association, eg 1:n lexicon->renderer records. more network but looser coupling.

yeah all kinds of photo galleries! some big, some small! i can't remember what parameterization support looks like in the spec, eg base schema + constraints. that would be the way to go if supported.
would be super cool if things this broadly useful for the ecosystem were under community-governed lexicon namespaces.
๐๐ผ Canadian wine fail... ftw? no covid here either
Look, the Web Engines Hackfest is now a W3C-endorsed conference: www.w3.org/events/confe...
Some working groups might arrange meetings at the hackfest. Thanks to W3C for your support and collaboration.
we're going to need multi-pds sooner rather than later

Stop trying to make "fweb" happen. It's not going to happen!
