Buenos Dias from Mora County!
Great turn out for their office opening. Very few things sooth the soul like breathing their fresh mountain air and seeing the beauty of gods country all around.

NEW POLL RESULTS!
Our campaign has been relentlessly focused on protecting our lands, while making sure we continue to support our schools and communities. Voters are connecting with our vision for New Mexico's lands, and both the lived and professional experience I bring.
Today is the deadline for public comment to protect Chaco Canyon.

With 56% of the vote in a three-way race, we have officially won the Democratic Party of New Mexico's pre-primary convention election for Commissioner of Public Lands!
The primary is on June 2nd, let's take this momentum to June and beyond.
Thank you all so much for the support!
I turned in my paperwork along w/ thousands of petition signatures from New Mexicans across the state, and filed to be a candidate for the position of Commissioner of Public Lands for the great state of New Mexico.
I am so thankful to those of you who signed our petition and helped asking the way.
Great to see new and old friends in Deming and Silver City this weekend. From the Gila to the Florida Mountains this area is rich with landscapes and resources that must be protected and respected for future generations to enjoy.
This Saturday in #Belen #NewMexico we'll be having the #WorldsLargest #Matanza . Hope to see you there!
Dr. King reminded us that “everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” His legacy calls on us not only to reflect, but to act, especially when it comes to standing up for our communities and the future we want to leave behind.
Let’s honor Dr. King not just with words, but with action.
"We need to make sure that we’re not just looking at dollars on a spreadsheet, but we’re looking at … the value of being able to go out in the outdoors and explore the outdoors,” Sanchez said.
It was great to join folks in Las Cruces for this forum.

(2/2) Their legacy lives in every community, every school, and every stretch of open land they helped defend.
To every veteran and military family, thank you for your service and your sacrifice. 🇺🇸
#VeteransDay
(1/2) Today we honor all who have served, those whose courage has protected our nation and our way of life here in NM.
Our state has one of the highest percentages of veterans in the country, from the Navajo Code Talkers to the brave New Mexico National Guard at Bataan. 🇺🇸
Yesterday started with a NICU stop to check in on Eliana, then to Española and Taos, and back to the NICU. Politics and especially the NICU are not for the faint of heart. I am blessed to have my little family, friends, and supporters across our state who keep me going.
As attacks on our federal public lands continue, NM needs a Land Commissioner who knows the land. Someone who has worked it, lived it, understands it beyond lines on a map or $ in a spreadsheet. Our lands are identity. Culture. Future. I’ll stand up for them.
Steve Pearce is a dangerous choice to run the Bureau of Land Management. He was part of the “Anti-Parks Caucus” in Congress, tried to weaken the Antiquities Act, make it easier to sell public lands, and even opposed National Park designation in his own district.
Even with everything going on, we are still making time to get out to vote!
Polls are open until 7pm tonight.
Make your voice heard.

(2/2) If elected to the Land Office, I'll work with ranchers and farmers in New Mexico to ensure that those who have and continue to treat the land with respect have the critical access to grazing leases and keep our local beef economy strong.
(1/2) Last month the Trump Administration was looking out for Argentinian soybean farmers over American farmers, and now they are encouraging the buying of Argentinian beef, after cutting billions in aid that benefited American ranchers and farmers.

Today tens of thousands of New Mexicans expressed our first amendment right to freedom of speech and assembly.
If elected, I will fight against federal government overreach as this administration continues attacks on our public lands that belong to 'We the people'. #NoKings #publiclands
Our first fundraising deadline is tomorrow at midnight!
Can you make a $10 contribution to help us reach our goal?

Thanks to the Cibola County Federation of Democratic Women for letting me join you all earlier this week to discuss my run for Land Commissioner.
It's always great to make it out to Grants and see the natural beauty Cibola County has to offer!
(2/2) By conserving our land, holding all those who lease State Trust Land to the highest standard of operation, and finding ways to diversify our economy to create local jobs for New Mexicans we will protect our climate and our future.

(1/2) I'm thrilled to announce that I have been endorsed by Climate Cabinet Action! If elected Land Commissioner, I will continue to fight for our land, our air, and our water today and for future generations.
It was great to join thousands of New Mexicans today who came out to rally and march for the "Workers Over Billionaires" Labor Day event.
Thank you to all the organizers for putting on an amazing demonstration with a huge turnout!
(3/3) Those moments shaped me, and they are a reminder that no one is too small to make their voice heard.
If elected State Land Commissioner, I will do everything in my power to continue standing up for works and their rights.
(2/3) In fact, when I was just 7 years old, I was pictured in the Albuquerque Tribune standing up for workers rights. A little kid holding a sign, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with workers demanding fairness and respect.
(1/3) Labor Day is not just a day off, it's a commemoration of the hard won gains and ongoing struggles of the labor movement.
I know what that fight looks like. Growing up my stepdad was the president of the local Machinists Union, and I spent parts of my childhood on the picket line.
While I'm out campaigning across the state for #NewMexicoLandCommissioner I stopped by #Capitan #NewMexico for my NM #smalltown spotlight. #JuanForNewMexico
