Jasmine is fantastic but the primary went the right way if you want to have a Dem Senator. There MIGHT be enough votes to elect a white male Democrat from TX for the Senate. There are not enough to elect a black female Democrat. Don’t hate me for saying that. It’s just realism. I know it’s not fair.
Is Latif a U.S. citizen? If he is, I am not sure why that is not her primary argument rather than not being “worst of the worst”. If not a citizen, how is he a three time Trump voter?
If true, the Irish Government should look into Trump’s golf resort at Doonbeg and shut it down until Justice is served.
That assumes he had a valid work permit as the article claims.
Sorry….mea culpa…an actual Senator. Not a Member of Congress….
Each State gets two. I am pretty sure that Washington, Hamilton and Jefferson thought that each State would send two of their brightest, most intellectual, free thinkers in their entire State to represent them in the Senate. 🤷♂️
Wow. Member of Congress. Congratulations on being in the 40th percentile in critical thinking skills.
Some of these States are not sending their best or brightest to represent them. I wonder if that is what the U.S. Founding Fathers had in mind.
The BBC is the world's most respected broadcaster. @bbcrosatkins.bsky.social
is its most respected fact checker. Here he analyses, frame by frame, what happened in Minneapolis.
Border Patrol removed Alex Pretti's gun, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 shot him — TEN times in five seconds. The Trump regime is lying to us.
Oil, electricity, lumber and potash. Not sure where else the U.S. can source those things from. (Certain refineries have been custom built to process Canadian crude from the oil sands.)
Where in Scotland are you? Architecture looks like Ayrshire, but could be many places in Scotland.
Garcia: If you are a whistleblower at the FBI, at the DOJ, if you worked hard to put the files together and are seeing your work now being hidden by your own DOJ, contact the oversight committee. We have whistleblower protections.
Couldn’t be any clearer.
A male prehensile-tailed porcupine stands on rocks and a stream inside a zoo habitat.
Introducing Ozzy! This prehensile-tailed porcupine, Zoo Boise's newest resident, is already becoming a star. 🌠
Settling into the renovated Small Animal Kingdom's Rainforest Building, Ozzy likes to nimbly climb and flip around his habitat’s canopy.

Much of the rest of the world does not believe that healthcare should be a profit-making industry.
Shouts out to Max Scherzer, doing it for all the guys over 40 who experience neck, shoulder and back pain because of the violent repetitive movement of their bodies, whether that's Pitching to Major League Hitters or Shifting Slightly in Bed
Can they not simply switch to growing a crop that the U.S. imports? Like coffee beans or avocados or bananas? Problem solved. 👍
Do we know that he is a federal officer?
Love this comment thread. Would never happen over at the bad place. 🙂
Would it not be a success if the goal was access to massive amounts of data across multiple government agencies and admin access to those systems for who knows what purpose?
I think it is awful. There is no place for this type of violence, no matter who the victim is, or his/her political viewpoint. Something needs to be done about gun violence in the U.S.
Sending thoughts and prayers to his family.
Absolutely brilliant.
Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, recently used my second-place finish in the 1,600-meter run, and that of my teammate in the 800-meter run, to malign Soren Stark-Chessa, the trans-identified athlete who finished first. One of the reasons I chose to run cross-country and track is the community: Teammates cheering each other on, athletes from different schools coming together, and the fact that personal improvement is valued as much as, if not more than, the place we finish. Last Friday, I ran the fastest 1,600-meter race I have ever run in middle school or high school track and earned varsity status by my school’s standards. I am extremely proud of the effort I put into the race and the time that I achieved. The fact that someone else finished in front of me didn’t diminish the happiness I felt after finishing that race. I don’t feel like first place was taken from me. Instead, I feel like a happy day was turned ugly by a bully who is using children to make political points. We are all just kids trying to make our way through high school. Participating in sports is the highlight of high school for some kids. No one was harmed by Soren’s participation in the girls’ track meet, but we are all harmed by the hateful rhetoric of bullies, like Rep. Libby, who want to take sports away from some kids just because of who they are. Anelise Feldman Freshman, Yarmouth High School Yarmouth
this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...
It’s a lot easier to have paper ballots and count them when you are only voting for your local federal representative. There were literally four names on my ballot for one position.
In a major win for trans people in the country, liberals win in Canada. There was serious concern that a Pierre Polievre victory would have resulted in the same dramatic crackdowns on trans people there that we have seen in the US.
Trans people in Canada can rest easily now.
Fentenyl is not pouring into the U.S. through Canada from China or from anywhere else.
"Tesla Inc. employs an odometer system that utilizes predictive algorithms, energy consumption metrics, and driver behavior multipliers that manipulate and misrepresent the actual mileage travelled by Tesla vehicles," reads the lawsuit. "In so doing, Defendants can, and do, accelerate the rate of depreciation of the value of Tesla vehicles and also the expiration of Tesla vehicle warranties to reduce or avoid responsibility for contractually required repairs as well as increase the purchase of its extended warranty policy."
It seems Tesla is detecting vehicles that may have problems, and artificially running their odometers faster so the warranty expires before they have to do any service
Just incredible grift
John Oliver's segment about trans athletes is a must watch for anyone who genuinely has "concerns" (and isn't just using that as cover for bigotry) www.readtpa.com/p/send-this-...
Just deranged lies. Where is the push back from the interviewer? Just nodding like it’s true.
That’s not Millie…this is Millie….Or maybe they both are. Happy Birfday Millie!
