Vikings still very much in IDL market. Similar to last year with Christian Wilkins — they just prefer not to pay at top of market. More strategic (with comp picks in mind, too).

Watching Texas Tech RB Tahj Brooks and I really like what I see.
Underrated vision and patience, super nimble on his feet. Fights hard for yards, handles pass protection well, and is a shifty runner.
His style reminds me of Jerick McKinnon.
Watching Georgia iDL Nazir Stackhouse and think he’d be a decent fit for the Vikings. Also his name is legit for a DL
Moves well for his size. Strength is evident, ability to push the pocket/take on double teams allowing edge rushers to feast.
Good run defender and space filler
The Vikings have roster holes to fill, making it crucial to draft the right guy. Scouting prospects at the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl is where it begins.
In this Vikings Happy Hour episode, @arif.bsky.social discusses standout players from both events⤵️

Oklahoma St. RB Ollie Gordon III has some sneaky second-level speed.
He's not the fastest guy, but he’s quicker than you’d think.
Give him the ball in space or some open lanes, and he'll make plays.
Also, great downfield block by #5 here —love to see that from a WR!
I'd love to see the #Vikings bring back Aaron Jones on a one-year deal and draft Tennessee RB Dylan Sampson.
- 20 years old
- Smooth, explosive runner
- Really good vision, patience, and contact balance
- Receiving ability
Could be an early contributor
The Vikings have won 12+ games in a season only 9 times in their 64-year history (including this year).
Kevin O’Connell has coached 2 of those teams in just his first three seasons
The Vikings need to extend KOC
- Grant: 4
- O’Connell: 2
- Green: 1
- Childress: 1
- Zimmer: 1
If the signings don’t impress you, consider this:
Kwesi built this Vikings team while managing a whopping $70M in dead cap space this season.
