Coverfly was the first script service that made me feel noticed. A writer with no schooling behind me, no rep, no credits to my name but these placements in these contests gave me the push to keep getting on the keyboard because it felt like somebody believed in me. Sad times but revel in the joy.

People have lots of negative things to say about writing contests. Some are scams, sure. Some lead nowhere. But every placement is a piece of hope. A sign that we're doing the right thing. That our words RESONATE. Never let anyone discourage you from entering bcuz a win is a win. #scriptsky

They built Cyrus up as the next Big Bad, gave him a whole holy redemption arc, made him a serial killer, set up a murder mystery, & then killed him off just to give Minihair even more story, which is totally unbelievable? Somebody gotta explain this to me. #GH

So since Minihair doesn't blame Sonny but "the person who placed the bomb" for Michael's burns, that surely means she no longer blames Ava for Morgan's death and blames Olivia Jerome, right? Since she's the person who placed the bomb in Julian's car. #GH

First day back to work & I am still on a high from my 1st time Florida vacay. Went with my bestie to see our other bestie who moved there last year, my buddy I met on a cruise TWO yrs ago drove up from Tampa (3hrs) to see me, did my 1st male strip club, saw South Beach.

This was the perfect reset.

The past couple of weeks have been very emotionally and mentally hard. I've been struggling. But recently, I've found a path to peace which has been extremely settling. Went out alone on a whim & had a pretty unforgettable night. Dancing will always make the problems in my world fall away.

The ONLY thing I wish they would've done is black out the venue when Cynthia sang the "bring me down" part of Defying Gravity just like Elphaba blacked out Emerald City in the movie...but then again I think I would've flatlined. #Oscars

Ari & Cynthia's #Oscars opening has me in all my emotions. Ari singing Judy's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", Cyn doing Diana's "Home", then their Defying Gravity" duet & Cyn's ending 🥹...literally have had tears coming down my face for the past 10 mins.

One of the best openings ever.

I had to think about the "why" of this 🤔. And what it boils down to is that ppl get bored and they need "variety". But my imagination is too active for boredom. EYE will give you more characters than the Barnum & Bailey Circus and more shows than Grey's Anatomy. Please do not play in my face, sir 💅.

So #BeyondTheGates ... Dani Dupree is definitely the soapiest character. All the people are beautiful, the sets are gorgeous, and the Dupree family oozes that natural feel of a tight African American family.

But this is how I feel the non-blk characters feel cause they seem so outta place 🤣
