As you were 😊 It’s only the Skarasen coming up out of the Thames in part 4 which has been updated, and that is working.

Asking the #Doctor Who hive mind. I very very rarely post on here, but I’ve now got this lovely thing 🤗 However, I can’t see the updated SFX in Zygons, only the original ones with both options. Anyone else getting the same? The Pyramids updated SFX are working, however.
Happy 10th Birthday today to TPTV 🥳
A great success, taking on the big boys of broadcasting succeeding, opening the TV and film archives, making so much easily accessible to all 🤗 Plus, all done with fun, humility and interaction with their viewers at their core 😊

Yes, I’ve been blown away by how good it is, particularly for daytime TV.
The last they have of this excellent archive TV series. They tell me they need to get the audience numbers up to buy some more, so do give this series and channel a go if you don’t already. They are not too far away from showing episodes not officially released on DVD, so an added incentive 😊 🤗
I really enjoyed the latest Season of this (Season 7). Mostly excellent, the only one below par for me was Hotel Reverie, which I found a bit dull and didn’t really get into it. Anyone else watched? - if so, what did you like and not like? #Netflix #BlackMirror @netflix.com
I highly recommend this one, particularly for Mike Pratt, who is great as usual. It also softens the blow as his stint in The Brothers repeats has just now come to an end. How sad that Mike died too young robbing us of further acting roles from him 😢
Last week, I went to London to see My Master Builder, a play inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s The Master Builder. With Ewan McGregor, Elizabeth Debicki, Mirren Mack and Kate Fleetwood. Signing at the Stage Door. I liked that security were checking tickets to deter autograph scalpers. Not seen that before.
I periodically update IMDB, but don’t always post about it. This is Carmen Gomez (Dr Who fans will know her as Anita in The Two Doctors) in the 1976 Z Cars episode “Ringers”. She was credited as Helen Gordon for some reason, so I got the credit corrected on IMDB.
That reminds me that I must see more of this. I’ve seen most of the first series which was great. So much to watch, so little time. You’re right about Derren - I liked that he was very “louche” and casual in a way for a Police detective 😎
This strikes a chord with me as I remember raising an eyebrow when I first saw the Pale Rider film trailer years ago 😎
Sadly, the episode no longer exists.
I enjoyed it too. Lots to like. Belinda’s a good foil for the Doctor. I liked that she told him off for doing a test on her DNA without her consent.
👍 That’s a good way of looking at it. I know there are lots of people better off than me, but there are lots worse off too.
Cripes! That’s not great. Hope you can manage ok.
Ncuti and Varada are guests on The One Show tomorrow. BBC1 19:00.
The new series of Dr Who is soon, which is exciting 😀, but I’m particularly looking forward to Rose Ayling-Ellis appearing. I’ve followed her career with EastEnders and Strictly eg, and she has done so much to raise the needs of the deaf community, and is a truly lovely and inspirational woman 😎
Pretty much my life’s work this. And it’s crash landing pretty soon! I am beyond excited!!
☺️ I wish! I have my photo of him outside that coffee shop as a memento though, and my memories 😎
Such a tricky thing…so many stars have to align. I’ve met RTD more than once, and my charming and praising him got me absolutely nowhere 🤣
Well done Toby. Also, on The Savages documentary which I thought was marvellous 😎👏 Hopefully, Clare Jenkins will surface at some point 😊
Fame at last! If only he was still Exec Producer, he could have got you all into the show!
I enjoyed it. It’s very similar to the TV episode “The Islanders”. I always feel sad though that the main cast were sidelined, as they parachuted in “bigger”names as the stars. Didn’t seem fair on the TV cast to me.
The Doctor has a reacting vibrator 😮 That took me by surprise 🤣😜
It’s a pretty good series. I watched it all when TPTV showed it for the first time. Edward Woodward is marvellous of course 😊
How lovely and what an achievement, which didn’t seem possible at the time. The new series of Doctor Who is 20 years old today 🥳😀 It’s going to overtake the original series I reckon!
Yes, I noticed 1970 given as the on screen date in the credits. The wrong Master though, having Roger Delgado in it would have been too much to hope for in relation to coincidence 😀
Matinee viewing. The Assault from 1971. Tons of well known British actors, but what really caught my attention was it’s set in Devil’s End! What a coincidence, what with the year as well! @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social
