if you’re looking for website blocking as well then yeah this won’t do it

i use brick on ios and it’s incredible for blocking apps and only giving me access if i can physically interact with the “brick”. it’s annoying how much they charge for their stupid rfid bricks but whatever, not being glued to my phone is worth it
this would unlock new PRs for me
in many ways my job is easy. i’m certainly not facing the responsibility or pressure that you likely do. one of the primary reasons i haven’t left. affords me the energy to do what i care about outside of work
and this is standard! this is normal! (outside of big tech)
15 days man. no allocation for sick time either just 1 bucket, 15 days. and not even granted on the first of the year, but accrued over time. god it pisses me off
it’s totally insane. 15 days of PTO and getting 5 more after 5 YEARS, is just madness. it turns everything into a choice between life and work. just another thing that drives me so i can escape being forced to make that choice
it will be hugely beneficial. the autonomy people will gain cannot be overstated. older folks or people without a license or those that can’t afford a car. not to mention the safety aspect
all i'm asking for is vim motions to be available everywhere. i don't think this is too much to ask. vim motions should be taught alongside typing to all children
i just love building man. give me a computer and i'll build. give me a hammer and i'll build. i just love building. at the end of the day i'm basically just a really smart beaver
i realized the other day that people dream of being professional athletes because it's the pinnacle of recognition and reward for ones mastery of a skill. in most other professions skill is not so easily demonstrated. it's all just an innate desire to be appreciated
another day, another llmkit release: v0.1.2 release - Azure model support, new Providers page, and improved model modal
what’s your primary use case? working through notes and creating cards for thing you want to review later?
same here!! will start hanging around here more. lots of great people over here that i want to be able to talk to again
these sort of things can only be evaluated on a case by case basis. but broadly speaking, most technologies are deflationary. that’s why i’m making that assumption
i have no idea how to post here. i’m blindfolded wandering around bumping into people: “sorry, ‘scuse me, whoops my bad”. the fact that one can feel shy in a new digital space must mean that the “social” in “social media” isn’t totally misplaced
but then the cost of rides falls dramatically and people have more money to spend locally
you can apply this same argument as counter to basically any automation concern. i tend to agree with it. deflation and new economic opportunities can be used to overcome the wage loss
an old laptop, ngrok, and a dream approach to infra. ideal for large user face applications which classically do not require servers
yes it’s painful. it basically makes it unusable for production applications. unless it’s some non time constrained batch processing or something
with how slow the tokens/sec is, it better be free!
redownloaded the app just to follow your move. will give things another shot over here
hahahahahahahaha
i have an old ipod video how do i mod it to be this
nobody yet knows the ramifications of a society overflowing with pent up posts
lil bmx action lets gooo
super clean, well done
these people just don't understand that sheer amount of code that needs to be written to get this stuff done. it's not easy man. and to not appreciate what's already been done here is incredibly shortsighted
the people showing up on their first day, whining about missing features, expecting complete parity with twitter, etc; are the nightmare users of product people and developers alike
someone has to be solving this
