Brilliant thread! I get the idea behind the phrase and the advert, but it really misses the mark for so many of us. And I think about how sometimes (often) we are told our not ok isn't ok at all. MH/ill-health is not yet so stigma-free that the phrase works.

The choice you are making is the hardest and also the most important in having an animal companion. I had to let my horse go early this year, and the "is it the right choice" process was so hard. But I believe that when we start to consider the end, there tends to be a very good reason.
