I haven't shopped in person in years, but I NEVER left my cart (or anyone's cart left blowing aimlessly around the lot). I always walked it over to the rails, the 'cart corral.'

I think I may have an idea why the theaters are struggling. I paid 20 bucks for a seat then waited through 40 minutes of commercials before I got to see the movie I paid for….
That’s pretty much the cult line. All he’s got left are people who will drink the kool-aid if the order was posted on Truth Social.
The smirk on Barron's face is disgusting.
They're not even trying to hide it anymore...
Color photo of a one and a half floor brick workers’ cottage with green eaves and window frames. A small uncovered front porch rises to its off-center door and shelters a house for a cat.
Color photo of Southeastern corner of the cottage showing four different colored common brick portions of the walls and a portion each of cream and red face brick at the lower portion of the front wall.
Color photo of the same cottage with focus on a richly patinaed and weathered cast iron porch post, a pot of silk flowers and a black cat scrutinizing the photographer.
If you need evidence that Chicago Workers’ Cottages were often built from salvaged or excess brick from area job sites, count the number of brick types in this amazingly intact one west of DePaul. Special appearance by Harley, the Magnolia Street Cat.
I went to a Detroit Tigers game at Fenway visiting my in-laws who lived a mile away from the stadium in the Back Bay. That was in 1984. I'd like to say I remember if they played it or not, but I don't! But I remember that huge green wall (monster!) and the walk there and back. 🤷♀️
Well, I'm in good company!
Following, thank you for sharing!

"It's rare for the school to be deserted, even on the weekends. Teachers like to come in and work, because they're strange people." Abbott Elementary's janitor, cleaning while everyone went to a conference. I came in so often I had a key to the school, and the security code. I was a strange person!
Explaining the rule means I "bow up easily?" You were operating under an incorrect assumption, I let you (and others reading it) know that the three involved indeed would be counted as finishing and receive finish times. That's usually how things work here, open exchange of information, opinions.
You called that snippy? Half of what I wrote was repeating back to you what you wrote.
I also wrote to you the rule concerning this situation, your assumption of three DNF was incorrect.
2/2 permitted, allowing both to receive an official finish time."
PS I just checked--according to what I just read, "helping a fellow runner across the Boston Marathon finish line generally does not cause both (or in this case, three) runners to be listed as DNF." Rules prohibit "outside assistance," but a registered runner assisting a competitor is typically 1/

Not sure that man was able to crawl. To each his own.
I'm glad to know so many help, and I'm glad you got the help you needed. I'm betting you would stop to help someone.🫶

The man tried to get up three times and fell back to the ground. I don't know if or where the medics were, but he needed help. I guess the two who helped him thought it was more important to help than have a race ranking.

I’m from Massachusetts and couldn’t be prouder of these two men who came to his aid. Massachusetts is a Liberal Blue State. People in our state elected a female Gay Governor and Boston’ s mayor is also a smart woman. We’ve also been on the forefront of Social Change. We’d love a female president too
Native Bostonian who grew up w/this history all around. The successes, & the failings.
America was founded on overthrowing oligarchs, having freedom, & preventing religious wars w/blood-soaked soil for centuries.
We failed even at the start, but we refuse defeat.
And even today, we must get back up
I was in grade school when that song came out!
Every American should watch Ken Burns' documentary on the American Revolution. It's rather lengthy at 12 episodes, but well worth the time. Those who fought for our democracy made many sacrifices, including with their lives.
