It's Morbin' time."

I guess everything I would do could be summed up as “invest time in myself.”Get back in shape. Find a new dayjob. Audit some courses. Upgrade my skills and workflows. Take the kid travelling.

And run a hell of a lot of RPGs.

By the God Machine I’d forgotten how insanely powerful Unchained Demons can be.

I actually do this a lot too. First drafts either go on the cloud or in a Notes app. I transferred them over into word once they are done and then when I’ve got my red lines, they stay in word for second drafts.

Your first draft is allowed to be shit.

Redlines aren’t to make the first draft bleed, they are there to make them red hot so you can forge something better.

That’s certainly what I’ve come to expect from her

Technology can be amazing.

More of 👇🏼 please and less stochastic parrot plagiarism machine infesting every device please.

We can do cool stuff if we want.

Valid. But I deeply miss the stories told by Weatherlight, Urza’s, and Mirrodin. The modern stories and the Planewalkers just don’t connect with me.

My first long time usernames came from an episode of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

He shared a positive view of often ignored or demonized cultures through his love of food and the people that make it

The link below didn't work for me so I'm sharing this one

Trump still committed a crime against humanity by threatening an act of genocide, which warrants his removal.

Realizing how much the human moments are what gets me in these missions. I was dry-eyed during Curiosity's landing, too, until the room at JPL erupted in cheers and people started celebrating.

I love the science, so much. But it's the people that make it so real and so personal and so powerful.

There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.
