The impact would be devastating for families, especially those earning just above the Medicaid threshold (~$16K–$23K/year). Many would see premium hikes so steep that coverage would simply be out of reach.
📣30 million people could lose health insurance in the next decade if enhanced ACA premium tax credits are allowed to expire.
The #OBBA would hit hardest families without college degrees and people living in rural areas who rely on SNAP and Medicaid.

📣1 in 3 people in the U.S. live in families participating in SNAP or Medicaid. The House bill takes away $1 trillion+ in food & health care while handing roughly the same $$ in tax cuts to families making over $500,000.
We break down what it means for every state.

Cuts to Medicaid and SNAP mean that seniors will face higher health costs, children will grow up hungrier and sicker, and rural economies built around health care will experience significant harm.

When women lose access to health care, it doesn’t just hurt them. It hurts their children, families, workplaces, and communities. It hurts all of us. If Congress takes Medicaid away, we will all pay the price. Read more from @lelaineb.bsky.social and @aijenpoo.bsky.social op-ed in @msmagazine.com
Work requirements don’t help people work—they are harmful policies that drain state resources, and create unnecessary barriers for low-income families. Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistance keep families afloat. Learn more about why work requirements don’t work: bit.ly/4irYD9y
.@clasp.org The South has long been home to the largest share of Black workers in the U.S., yet it's also where union rights are most suppressed. Right-to-work laws keep wages low and conditions poor—an intentional legacy of the region’s exploitation of Black labor. www.clasp.org/blog/souther...

It’s FMLA anniversary but we need *paid* leave. 14 states have stepped up with paid leave laws in place. 37 states have not – and many of them lack other family-friendly policies: nationalpartnership.org/report/threa...

FMLA turns 32 this week. It’s been used 500 million times, but the U.S. still lags behind as one of 6 countries in the world that does not have a guaranteed, comprehensive paid family leave program nationally. #PaidLeaveForAll
Since the FMLA’s conception, the benefit has been used over 500 million times. That’s 500 million times families didn’t have to choose between a loved one and a job. However, FMLA doesn't guarantee pay and nearly half of workers aren't eligible. What we need now is #PaidLeaveForAll #FMLAat32

Airport service workers facilitate travel for millions of Americans every single day.
Yet, they are paid low wages with limited access to benefits.
The gap between CEO pay and worker pay increases as union membership decreases. It couldn’t be clearer that unions are the counter to anti-worker, greedy corporations.
It’s time for workers to get their fair share of the profits that THEY create.
