Getting past the schedulers is the hard part. I’m trying to network with other doctors and get there through personal connections but no luck yet. My backup plan is the ER at a nice hospital.

I saw a new specialist after months on a waiting list. He was great but said I was out of his area of expertise and referred me to a university neurology department. I called the department and they said they’re all booked. No waiting list. And they have dozens of neurologists on staff.

Is gender-affirming care for trans kids really a dangerous experiment? Who should be in charge of who gets it? Doctors and families? Or politicians? #protecttranskids 🏳️‍⚧️
