Wrote this about 6 months ago. I dont often write beatless tracks but I needed to try something different after finishing a bunch of tracks that I thought were rubbish. This was fun to write and came together quickly, which is usually a good sign.

My view for the next few days. Got 7 demos in the bag that I’m happy with. Might be working towards an album, will hopefully know by the end of the week.

Also displayed was a number of his etchings which perhaps demonstrate why younger generations view him as problematic.

Yesterday afternoon I finally made it the the Tate to see Theatre Picasso, which is essentially all of their collection gathered together. It was a great opportunity to see some of his greatest works ‘the three dancers’ and ‘weeping woman’ placed in context.

It was quite interesting but odd to hear his music in such an austere environment. Everyone sat very quietly in between tracks as they changed the tuning of the pianos. Then at the end everyone clapped politely. Easily the most Caucasian thing I’ve done for a long time.

Just returned from a cultural weekend in London with wifey. On Saturday I was at The Southbank Centre for a performance of Aphex Twins Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments by a four piece including two percussionists and two pianists.
