As the best-dressed trader on Wall Street and owner of one of the vastest, most luxurious apartments in New York City, I am opposed to the policies of @mayor.nyc.gov —they seem designed to make me even more accessible to statuesque, lovelorn MILFs who will obsessively stalk me both day and night

WROTH: As advertised, this Neon area control game was so breezy the end took us by surprise. Not too deep, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. I won due to my two opponents being locked in a cycle of vengeance. Lesson learned: remember the elite troop VP bonus next time.
Calvin's dad: still listening to those sad records? Calvin's dad: I know you two were close and he's always hard losing family. Calvin: yeah... Calvin's dad: so what if I told I that as part of his will your uncle invited us all to one last sleepover? Calvin disturbed in bed.
The Realis hype is so justified gang. Game good. I'm gonna eat all the moons.
Something very similar happened to me while buying a car last week. I was turning down an extended warranty and he kept lowering the price and eventually pleaded: "Bro, this is a great deal! Check ChatGPT right now - I'll wait!"
SKEPTIC: Absurd! His name is SOLID SNAKE? Then pray tell, what of LIQUID SNAKE?
ACOLYTE: Why, he is the first one's brother, and the misfeasor whose crimes underpin the chronicle of which I was just preparing to speak.
SKEPTIC: [Unnerved to have his disdain so thoroughly anticipated and routed.] Oh!
A discord screenshot between me and Gwen Gwen: “Have you ever considered not contextlessly referencing 50 year old soap ads” Me: “i refuse to dim my light”
SPIRIT ISLAND (2): We defeated level 2 Scotland as Thunderspeaker, Wandering Voice Keens Delirium, and Devouring Teeth Lurk Underfoot. Lesson learned: Take the "add a card" option early as Teeth because as things heated up I was reclaiming almost every Growth Phase.
ECLIPSE: Game 1 of this "season." I discovered a black hole early and threw my entire fleet into it (didn't work out) We cheered when a rickety Ancient shot down a dreadnought. Our quickest game at 3:20. Lesson learned: don't be afraid to pick a more defensive faction- it would have paid off here.
DUNE IMPERIUM UPRISING: 1st play for two players. Very long game -going to have to use a timer moving forward to deter analysis paralysis- but everyone loved it. Lesson learned: snag an early victory; claiming the battle card for matching purposes can be the difference between victory and defeat.

I don't know about the rest of the millennials but I make all purchases via real computer because I don't have to Download Yet Another App to do it and the browser there is better at blocking all the stupid fucking ads and trackers. At some point you gotta take control of the hamster wheel, kids.
IBERIAN GAUGE: We were all learning so it played like a cooperative game more than a competitive one. I was happy that I was able really folks to blue and launch it to the moon. Lesson learned: having a single share in a company that one of your opponents has a majority stake in can be powerful.
Unfortunately not. Brody is visually represented only by his badge and a meeple.
JAWS: I discovered this in a thrift store and it might be my favorite hidden movement game. I taught and watched as four others played Act 1 and I really like that you can play a single act as a stand alone game. The shark won via a very clever use of the Out of Sight ability.
DECRYPTO: This one is great at six players. The third game was a great finale after the first two fizzled quick due to early miscommunication tokens. Lesson learned: don't get too fancy at the beginning. We had a great time!
The Banished Vault is on sale!
It's a strategy game about the difficult and terror of space travel. It uses nearly-correct math to determine delta-v, resources strictly tracked in the world, and dice rolls to simulate anomalies.
There's lots more but the included manual explains the rest!
RACE FOR THE GALAXY (2): The games go so quick it's hard to turn one down. Split two games - a decisive military victory for me and an overwhelming trade victory for my opponent. Lesson learned: using the variant two-player rules opens up new options and strengthens rush strategies.
INNOVATION: First play and I get the love- feels like the Cosmic Encounter of engine builders in the best ways- chaotic haymakers each turn. A nuclear accident set us back to the stone age and my opponent recovered first. Lesson learned: meld cards even if they aren't splayed so you can splay later!
I've got a pretty good idea who but I'm keeping it to myself (for now)
BAUERNSCHLAU: Two six player games that were hilarious from beginning to end. I narrowly lost the second game due to not having completed my left fence - l thought I had another turn, but a player surprised me. Lesson learned: don't get greedy before your property lines are fully dileniated!
RACE FOR THE GALAXY: A lazy afternoon of many two player RftG games. I only won one game, but my engines was beautiful. Lesson learned: it feels like solitaire but it's an incredibly sharp duel at 2 players. Kickstart you engine early for tempo and control when the game ends before you opponent can.
incredible animation work in Eclipsium.
i have explained subcreation. i will explain it one more time, if you do good. i will explain it... two more times, if you do bad.

Going live with more Demon's Souls. It's been interesting to see all the small things I've forgotten in the decade since my last actual playthrough, and to get to draw attention to the neat details I do know.
